  1. Hi jayjayhas,

I have the same situation, ceac status changed to ISSUED on the 25th with an administrative processing message, then the message changed to "Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courrier_informationto track your courier waybill." on the 29th.

I am still waiting for the email from Loomis.

Hopefully we will get it soon!

  2. Checked our status today and it says ISSUED, but the fine print below has me puzzled. Why if it says issued does it says my visa is currently undergoing AP?

    Issued
Immigrant Visa Case Number: Case Creation Date: 17-Apr-2014 Status Updated Date: 25-Jun-2015
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

Please note: Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. Also, some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

We got exactly the same update today, with "Issued" and the admin processing text, also with Montreal... Please do update if you get any more information!

  3. Hello all,

My husband and I just had our CR-1 visa interview in Montreal, and they asked for additional documents. I sent these documents through FedEx from my address in the US to the following address:

    315 Place D'Youville Suite 500

    Montreal, Quebec

    Canada H2Y 0A4

On the Montreal website, they state a different address for documents mailed from the US. Does anyone know if our documents will be accepted, or if they could be sent back?

  4. Thanks for the info cool497,

I didn't send my stuff yet, I just got a 221g saying that I need a joint sponsor.

My only option for the joint sponsor is my father in law who has been living abroad for 15 years but paying taxes and stuff.

What was the original documents you submitted that were NOT accepted?
