My case was returned from the consulate on 18-May and I believe VSC received it on 5-June. So I'm hoping that by the end of next week I'll have the RFE.

New update on my case!!! I was touched again today, even though the current status says the action was taken yesterday

I would suggest getting your Representative involved. I've contacted mine and got them the information. They are able to talk more directly and get better information than us. It may not speed the process any, but at least it will give you more information (hopefully).

Just got off the phone with Vermont. Still no record of my application since May 1. They have yet to match my petition back with the file that was recalled from the National Records center. The woman on the phone said "I don't know what to say. It's just a waiting game now."

I'm about 90% certain that we're going to sh*tcan this application and move to the UK instead. My lease is up at the end of October; if I haven't heard anything by the time I visit the UK in July, I think we'll apply for the UK visa.

Since some questions/concerns about our petitions getting back to VSC. I talked to my Congressman's office yesterday and they contacted the NVC and were notified that my petition had just been forwarded that day to VSC. My letter from the German consulate on the returning of the petition was 18-May. So it took from 18-May to 6-Jun to get underway at least to VSC.

Who is responsible for writing the new I129F form that is now out as a draft?

Is that USCIS?

I know OMB is the one to approve it, but who designed the new form to meet the new IMBRA request?

I contacted my Congressman's Office last week and faxed them my situation with regards to my visa application being pulled from the foreign consulate mid-May. I just contacted them today to see if they had any additional information. They informed me that they had contacted VSC and were notified that they are in conferences all week. Anybody else get a similar type of response?

Conferences? Conferences regarding ... ??

I don't know what kind of conferences. They just said conferences, which I thought was odd that the whole office (or at least people who could answer questions) would not be available.
