  1. Unfortunately my fiance's x-rays taken during the medical caused some concern and she was given some meds and told to return in two months to be rechecked. Prior to the recheck, we had her x-rayed at her private Dr and he too is saying he sees what he thinks is latent TB and prescribed medication to be taken for the next 6 months. She went back to St. Lukes and shared this information. They agreed with the prescibed meds and treatment but did not take new x-rays thenselves or

Our concern is that our petition will be expiring before this treatment is completed. I'm told that St. Luke's sends a report to the embassy reporting their findings but nothing was given to her stating this. I would assume that the petition remains valid while under Dr treatment but again, nothing was given to her.

Is their a way to check that a report was actually sent? That our petition wont expire during this treatment? Basically.....is their any way to check the status and see that everything is proceeding correctly. Given that we have nothing in writing I feel very uneasy about this.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Hello everyone,

    Quick and hopefully simple question......

I am a U.S. citizen and am expecting a baby with my fiance. She lives in the Philippines. Due to financial reasons we had to put off our K-1 petition.

Unfortunatly my fiance and will not have aquired our K-1 visa prior to our baby being born. I will be present at the birth . My concern is with the child aquiring U.S. citizenship. I've been doing the homework but havent found the answers to my questions so bringing it to you all....

    1) Can the CRBA be applied for pre-birth or is there some other form required pre-birth?

    2) Did I understand correctly that a U.S. birth certificate and passport can or will be issued along with the CRBA?

  3. Hello everyone,

I'm looking for help and suggestions with a problem that has come up while obtaining my fiances k-1 visa. Her daughters biological father won't consent to the child moving with her mother to the U.S.. This guy doesn't provide any support for this child and see's the child 2 or 3 times a year. He doesn't want to consent to the child moving here. He has no problem with her traveling on a tourist visa and already helped acquire a passport for the child.

Has anyone dealt with this issue? I'm wondering if there are any legal remedies for this situation? I would be so very grateful for help and/or suggestions. He is listed as the father on the child's birth certificate.
