  1. Just out of curiosity, as I think this is really important, What were your intentions when you applied for the tourist visa? was it to spend time with your Fiance?

Just a visit? How long had you requested the tourist visa for? as in how long were you intending to stay?

I haven't had to apply for the tourist visa being in a country that is in the VWP but don't they ask you for proof that you will return to your home country. For example don't they ask you if you have a return flight, how long you are staying, what your intentions are in the USA, whether you have a mortgage, bank accounts, a job?

That's what I was told anyway. I just cannot see your tourist visa being denied purely based on the fact that you were unemployed. I would have also thought that you were within your rights for them to clarify why you were being denied a visa but again I could be wrong.

    Totally agree with this statement!

If you lie you are screwing yourself over and pretty much justifying them denying you.

My English is not very good, however, that it was 6 years ago. We just met and I wanted to go on a visit to three weeks. I was then a student and I was sure that I will get a visa. But when my visa was denied, I was lost in my thoughts that I did not ask anything about reasons.

  2. Not unless you lied.

Tourist visas are usually denied because they are concerned you will want to stay in the USA. The K1 is a visa to stay in the USA, so different rules apply. Now, if during the tourist visa you lied and, for example, said you were married to help you get the visa when you were single, that could be an issue.

I think it was denied because i am unemployed. I am asking because in questionnaire i need to answer 'have i already been interwieved for visa' and I am not sure what to answer (what will be results of my answer if i say yes).

  3. Very difficult to decipher but it sounds like you sent in a K1 petition. Received an RFE. Possibly did not respond by the deadline? You have a limited time period to respond to an RFE. Did you respond by the deadline on the RFE letter? If so then you should contact USCIS to inquire about the status of your petition. You can also check online at USCIS.gov

okay, we are going to check..we send all new application, not related to RFE..

  4. No one knows anything about your case if you do not input a timeline. Also call USCIS for the status of your case.

So let me get this right you filed for the K1 visa and they needed more information from you, you sent it in and they didn't respond?

whic is the number of USCS, i con not fin..

no we didn't fail, first time we get RFE ,one paper wasn't ok and we should sent him again only that paper but we didn't..after some time we collected all paper agin and sent them and this time they don't answer..

  5. hi.

I and my fiance we submitted for k1 visa 6 months ago. but we did not get the answer that they received mail, means nothing not tell us. before we send the same for this visa and then they answered, but we missed one paper. At that point we had some obligations and did not send the paper, but we have for some time all over again collected together and sent. But it did not answer at all, not even to have received mail, and that they should have to answer for 2-3 weeks. if someone had a similar situation, or as some advice

    thanks

  6. :time: so we know where in the process you are so that we can help you out better. Yes, you can visit during the process and you can delay the process if it turns out you're not in your home country when your application reaches the embassy.

we are only delivered for a visa, but for your case I see that you have been waiting for a long time.
