It's a very frustrating process. Hopefully it gets resolved soon for you.

I waited so long that I stopped thinking and even caring about it. Then, one day, everything changed. A month later and I still can't believe it's over sometimes. One day I was nobody, stuck in this country for a decade, a person with no rights, the next day I was permanent resident.

If anyone is still following this thread, I finally received "card production ordered" email. Over a year and half after the interview. I hope the card arrives soon.

I've been stuck in exact the same situation for 13 months now. USCIS site still showing "interview scheduled".

I've made an online inquiry, called, had infopass, contacted my senator, all came back without any resolution or a reason why my case is still pending. Finally, I contacted dhs ombudsman last week, I'm waiting for their response.

Pitigoi, i can't offer much help but your timeline is almost identical to mine. We filed around april 2014, interview was in october 2014, nothing ever since. My case status shows exactly the same: interview scheduled. I called, had infopass, online inquiry and finaly had senator's office involved, all came back with canned answers "case pending" and such.

No. No work permit either.

why is that? what happened?

I wish i knew. I just called them today, again, they opened a service request. I've been waiting since may 2014 when i submitted my i-485, had the interview in aug 2014. It's been pending ever since.

Almost 9 months, still waiting. No help from senator or infopass.

Any news about your greencard?

I had my interview in October 2014 and i'm still waiting.
