That's nice to hear. I was just surprised she didnt req EAD or 1-94... Oh well, she didnt even ask to see it so I guess it's all good.

I have to say, the interview was so easy!! I guess it depends on the officer but she only asked very few questions like how we met and if we had gone on any vacations. She also looked at some pics and asked where and when they were taken. We were out in 15 minutes.

    Thanks again to everybody!!

  2. Hi everybody!

I am new to this forum even tho I have to admit I have read a lot of postings prior to our AOS interview. So I am hoping some of you might have some advice or experience to share with me. Me and hubby (USC) went for our interview this morning at the office in Miami, FL and this is what happened.

Our lawyer was 5 minutes late so I had to sign a form that I wanted to conduct interview without him. Great I thought... Im paying him a lot of money plus he had some of our documents... So anyway, the interviewer was very nice and told me that my lawyer is sometimes a little bit late. She knew who he was. We started joking and laughing about it which made me calm down a little bit. Then she made us swear in and asked how me and hubby met. Hubby replied and she said ok. Lawyer then walked in and we all started picking on him.

She then asked for wedding pictures but i gave her all the pics we had brought (like 40 random pics). She then asked for tax returns for 2005 only and job letters. We had only brought W2's since my husband always waits until the last minute to file taxes. Bad move on our part, i know. My husband didnt have a job letter since he just started his new job last week. My lawyer then told me to hand over utility bills, car ins, medical ins and bank statements which i did. She looked through everything. She then told us that she wanted hubby and me to file taxes for 2005 and provide her with that as well as a job letter for him. She was going to send a form to my lawyer for us to complete. (updated affidavit maybe??). She then turned to hubby and told him that I can either wait for green card in the mail or go and request stamp in passport.

That was it and we walked out. I asked my lawyer if everything was good and he said yes. The thing that worries me tho, is that she didnt take my 1-94, my ead or my advance parol documents. She made it seem like as long as we get her the tax return and job letter she would approve us but she didnt spell it out and that's why I am worried. Has anyone had this experience before?? Also she made us sign the form about removing conditions.

P.S. We filed taxes online as soon as we got home....

Thank you in advance for replying!
