As for my case movement... It is in a local office (why?), and was originally filled in Feb 2008, but transfered to the local office in March 2009. Since then we had an interview in August 2009 and NOID on which we replied in June 2010. And nothing since.

We go to the Infopass every 3-4 months. And I had contacted our Congressman. At first Congressman's representative was wery friendly and got back to me realy fast, but after getting detailes on a case, she got impossible to reach and didn't get back to us. I have called back a lot of times, but after telling who is calling always was sent to a voicemail box. So, one day I left an angry message, and, may be that was a reason, but I did get back a letter that they had contacted USCIS, but we need to realise that that is AWA case and it takes time.

We went to another infopass, and learned that our case went through level 1 adjadicator's decision and was folloved by supervisor's decision. The decisions were 1 advise to approve and 1 to deny. Now the case is at the Field Director's Office desk (we never got any letters or emails about any of that activity). Director's decision will be final. (The procedure of 3 officer's decision is for cases which end up in a local office only!).

It had been 3 month since a case is on the Director's desk. So, we went to Infopass again, and the level 1 officer went to supervisor to ask about my case. He came back with the reply that they know this case and if we think that USCIS does something wrong about a case, we sould contact Congressman or Senator, or, basically, sue them, if we wish. But there is no point to come here (to Infopass).

We tried to contact Congressman again, called and a left a massage a few times, but she never called back. For me, taht is a clear answer that our Congressman doesn't want to deal with AWA cases. Now, we soon will be moving to a different district, and I will try to contact the other Congressman, hopefully he will be a better help.

I feel like I need to be more proective and to contact everybody I only can, but writting in English is not easy for me, and my husband don't believe in any help. But i'm exausted - 5 years!!! He doesn't understand. The other day I read in a newspaper that homosexual couples are allowed to petition for immigration of a partner - they got it! Why can't we???

I just received a notice on July 2nd stating that my case has been transferred to local office. How long after knowing that you case was transferred to a local, you receive NOID? Thanks

Just a update to Adam Walsh act. Me and my wife's marriage is so wonderful. We went threw a long road and have moved past this whole immigration process and also gotten past the Adam Walsh Act that nearly broke us. For those petitioners out there that experience this type of case be patient and ready to support your case with allot of evidence.

Me and my wife now have three children together in the U.S. Everything is good in Vegas.

Do we need to file a waiver? hire a lawyer?

I studied many cases and I feel like you can be approved if you submit all the evidences

I worked very hard on this case. With polygraphs, letters from family memebers. I will work very hard this week for others to know my portfolio of what I sent to get this approved this week. Peaple that prayed for us thank you sooo much. God bless you all.

Yes, cases do get approved. Mine was approved in 2009. It took 2 and half years. I was the first American to be approved in the Adam Walsh act. There is allot that must be done. Read my posts and time line.

What did you do Angie to be approved? how long did u wait after submitting your evidences? do u hire a lawyer? did u file a wiver

They updated the processing time. On June 9, they are still dealing with september 18's petition.

I got approved since Friday and did not know. I deleted my Moumoune account and create a new one to let people know but instead I saw sarcasm ... Well, I wish you good luck and I dont like to play by the back so frankly I will just say, I wish you wait a little bit longer than everyone before getting your NO2. Thats what I call to be DIRECT
