  1. i was just wondering does anyone now what happens when you cant afford the filing fee for removing conditions so my husband can get his 10 year. it expires end of march. he lost his job im working two jobs he did a new one but its not even half the pay of his old . i was told as long as we are married they wont make him leave but i dont if he can work or will they make him leave

  2. I have three children and my ex payes me child support when i submitted my aos it was the same time i was getting my taxes done my ex asked to claim one of our girls so i asked my tax preperer if he could he said sure but you cannot claim her as a dependent anywhere. when i sent in the paperwork i sent in three years of tax returnes she was on two not on the last. I was never questioned and we where approved for AOS. As i unsderstood the law two people cannot claim the same person as a dependent however i could be wrong the best thing for you do is just cal them and ask to be sure

Hello everyone just a question i read in a few places it said its a good idea to send letter from family and friends when my fiance goes for his interview so i mentioned that to my family and the said ok what should we write . 7. When i looked at my taxes i realized that it was different from what my employer said i made. by 4000 dollars when i asked why my taxes where $ 4000 less then my income statement i was told the money that comes out of my check for health insurance is not taxable income there for it is not recorded on my tax return.I don't know if that is anything like your case if you have health insurance or not you also have to think about assets what do you for assets i know myself i don't have a co sponsor i have just me my girls and jamal so i'm on my own. I have an ESOP account and a car i own i was told i can use as assets also statements from my employer showing actual income.I don't know if anything here will help just a few ideas and if i'm wrong on any of then feel free to tell me

  8. I looking for anyone who has dealt with this. I am divorced since Feb. I made a post awhile back that i didn't make enough to to be the sole sponsor but i didn't think of child support can this be used as income since its just since feb.And my proof is receipts i have given my ex because he wanted something to show he was paying. Also does it matter that he has the children about half of the time. our divorce just says joint custody.how much of this do they look at and would take in to account just wondering if anyone has had this experience with them .

  9. I did the same was here for a few months before ever contacting anyone. I have made a few posts now and know better then to ask where is my RFE or why it takes so long .just looking at the topics everyone is posting we are all in the same boat.I made a post in one spot and never got any replies so i put it somewhere else. I dont know if the question was asked before or not but i got so much information i was so grateful there was one respone that didnt set well with me but it was that response that helped me. Anyways its just how things are we all need some help time to time and i for one am grateful for all respones nice or rude thanks VJ (L)

  10. Why are you petitioning a K-1 for your "husband"? Please read this thread and its mate carefully: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...topic=15688&hl=

If your beneficiary is applying for a K visa, the "household member" and "joint sponsor" and "assets" information discussed here does not apply; that is a discussion of the I-864 which is for Immigrant Visas.

Gosh, I wonder if this is another "goldenheart" issue? Let's hope the OP pays attention to the correct immigration terminology for a fiancé.

I have never heard that term "goldenheart" but will definitly see what its about. I do be believe a fiance is someone your engaged to but not yet married correct? just want to make sure that i got that one right. Can anyone tell me what OP stands for when its referring to me. When i found this site i was so happy and grateful its here this is the first time i have had a need for more information like this cus i know nothing till i learn so i am thankful for all of your help and forgive me if some of my terminology was incorrect. I am sure many of you can relate to the husband/fiance thing maybe not i dont know all we are waiting for is the stupid paper with our names becides that we are in everyway very much husband and wife but i do get where it could be a problem and again thank you for bringing that to my attention. JUst be patient with me im still a newbie to all this and again thanks for you advices

  11. we would be five with my "fiancé" see i did well there. in the household there is just me my three girls they are 8,7 and 5 i am the supporting person in this household. i have been with this job almost 5 years so i think that shows im stable with my work and i love my job and to get a second well that would pay for the babysitter to watch them while i work i guess. my sister is completly disabled and unable to live alone so we are a concidered a family unit when it comes to everything else i have to count her income so i was thinking it would be the same
