By the way guys, just to update you on this, I already received my passport with the packet after 2-3 days of waiting, and they delivered on a weekend. I suspect they just forgot to include something in the packet or they forgot to cancel my previous tourist visa.

I just had my K1 Visa Interview last May 15. The consular officer said my case looks okay and he approved it in his system. So now I just need to wait for my passport to be mailed to me. I still tracked my case in CEAC and on May 18 it is under Administrative Processing. On May 19 the status was already Issued.

However, when I tried to track my passport using the courier, the status of my passport was already picked up even though I haven't received my passport yet. So I called the courier to check, and they said that they received an instruction from US Embassy in Singapore to send back my passport to the embassy.

I just want to know if this is a usual case? And what would be the possible reasons that they need my passport back at the embassy?
