Hello!! I am an American girl in love with an amazing British man. We are marrying in July after agreeing we can't wait for the K1 to be married. I'm so super excited about marrying him, but taking him back to the airport will kill me.
We have been a couple for about a year but knew one another before then. When we met in person this past October, we both knew we were in this for the long run. We will be applying for the CR-1 after my trip to England to formally meet his family (and saving up the money for it). We have lots of proof we are genuine, but having even more wouldn't hurt. We want this to work out so bad!
Our only issue is the sponsorship. I don't qualify, but my mother does. She has agreed to co-sponsor for us. But we have no idea what the legal obligations would be. Can someone point us to a site that lists everything we need to know about being a co-sponsor??
