Today my status change i have my interview in march. Already nervous.

Finally have my interview scheduled for the 18th of February,after 7 months of waiting.

Just came back from the interview. I'm not sure how it went. let me know what you guys think.

The IO just asked for my/spouses name, bday, address, asked about my previous visas over the years and if we wanted to add any evidence to the file.

We pulled out a mountain of evidence for him to add to our file one by one and that was it. He didn't ask how we met or ANYTHING about us and our relationship. I offered him to look at the albums and collages we brought and he didn't seem to be interested in them..verdict:he'll review the evidence and said "we'll be in touch".

What do you guys think? I have a really bad feeling about how it all went down because of the fact that he didn't seem to care to hear our story. Everything he said is like a riddle..We gave it our 100% and the waiting begins.

You'll be fine, not everyone gets approved on the spot.....There's absolutely nothing for you to be sad about for. Relax and wait for your welcome letter

Ill provide all the details tomorrow, it's too hard to do it from my phone. But wanted to say that we interviewed today and they told us we'd hear something in a few weeks. About two agonizing hours later we got the email that his new card was being produced!! So excited that we are done with this step of the process and can relax for two years!!

Well never mind, he just called and said the woman informed him wrong andbhe has to take all the tests. Oh well, at least he'll have a current license here.

Morning VJ family I'm officially nervous my status move to interview date in October, my main fear is I just got my work permit and in the process of looking for a job. Me and my wife have nothing together since we live at her dads place and she assist with the mortgage, we can't get a joint account as yet cause chase bank need me to get a us ID FIRST . So all we have is our togetherness pictures. I'm scared that's not enough any advice.

Don't be nervous as you can still do a lot since you still got little time left before your interview. If your wife drives, then she can add you to her auto insurance and also you can get life insurance from globe life insurance, stating each other as the beneficiary. The globe life insurance cost less than $5 and you can get the paper work before your interview. If your wife uses credit cards, she can add you as an authorize user to any of her credit cards.Goodluck

I just woke up to the best email ever! My EAD was approved on September 2nd!

So I used my EAD to get my state ID at least today as my dear hubby and I are planning to take a trip in few weeks, the last thing I want at the airport is some silly harassments. Now with the Id I can walk freely around the country, pending on when I obtain my GC...

Finally got home and checked my mailbox today (a friend had been checking these past two weeks since I have been on vacation) and I had received my Biometrics appt, scheduled for September 17, so pretty soon. Also today I got an email that my AP was approved. Seems like things are moving along again, even though I'll have to wait a bit for my biometrics appt.

i call back Uscis the guy ask me if I got a RFE for the EAD I told him no I got RFE for the AOS so he took all my information and said he's sending a email to the Uscis office that is working on my case a reminder that I'm over 75 days, he give me a reference number and advice me that if I don't get a call between 15 to 30 days I should call back. But what's clear now is that my RFE for the AOS has nothing to do with my EAD. I think my case is being handle by the office in Long Island and the wait there is more long.G

I call Uscis this morning after realizing I'm on day 77 and the person told me they would have started back my 75 day counting from the date they received back my evidence.

I will advise you to call again and most probably someone will pick up with more ear friendly news.....Most of those call takers barely even know what they are doing and they wouldn't want to make a fool of themselves by leaving you hanging on the phone, So they just tell you anything to make you go away.. Try to call back and speak to someone else

So the sad new is I won't be getting my EAD anytime soon. I got a RFE in July and send back the information on the 20th July so now the Uscis is using the 20th July as my day 1 instead of June 9, so my 75 days have to start counting from the 20th July which takes me till September month end or early October. Very sad

Am so so sorry but I also got an RFE almost same time with you and it seem like we almost got same timelines, The RFE certainly didn't affect my EAD....Am really surprise that you think that the RFE messed up you time but don't think it"s true. Maybe you should wait till this weekend before you can really conclude on that. Good luck and be hopeful, all will be well

So i recieved a notification that my card was mailed to me just today 21st & i got home only to find the card in my mail box without the prior approval notification.....Super fast and intresting.Good luck everyone

I got my EAD/AP card in the mail today! I didn't have a lawyer so that's why it arrived in my mailbox.

Finally Yelli ,congrats again...I just received a mail that my card has been mailed to me this morning.

I'm taking you to Vegas! We got an email this morning that our interview was scheduled for September 28!
