    Hi lutz I'm happy for you and your husband. How long did you guys waited to have visa in hand before our reaffirmed case has been scheduled for interview in October and I'm planning to go home, but I just came back from Ghana 🇬🇭 in January so I won't be able to take more than a month vacation and some ppl said it takes four weeks even though they said two weeks. Thanks

      My husband gave his passport to the Head Office on Aug 8, 2017 and the website he was given to check to see when his visa status was changed to "Issued". It was changed on Aug. 15, 2017 so he went to the Head Office to check about it since all the phone numbers were no help to get info from. He was told that he was to come back Aug. 22 to pick it up because where it is printed and issued is in another department and it takes some days for it to get back to them. They can request more documents before issuing the visa but they did not.

      Hello, my husband's visa was noted as issued on 8 August and we picked it up on the 17th.  BEWARE!!!  Check your visa very thoroughly.  My husband's is now an IR1, but the visa was printed as a CR1.  He had to return to the embassy to have the CR1 nullified and the IR1 added to his passport.  That took 2 days.  Now all is fine.

      God bless I'm happy for u.  God willing we will be also get the IR1 because we been married for two years 10 months prior to our date of interview. Thanks for the information.
