  1. That's three visa numbers, usually fiancee (wife) and two children......

Well tracking numbers for 3 visas not 3 visa numbers.

hmmm then im even more confused. she does have 2 kids. they will travel at a later time. but why 01 is untouched and AP, but 02 is touched and ready, and 03 is untouched and ready. so confusing.

  2. best advice i can give is just be prepared. my fiance brought everything, they asked for nothing. but she could here other near her being asked for alot of different things. some of the consulates are nice, some are not. luck of the draw on who, or what they ask for.

  3. so an update. on Sept 16th Arra went to her psych test at lukes. seen doctor for a whole 3 mins at 8am appointment. didn't leave till after 6pm waiting on her paperwork and shots. after waiting for her papers, they noticed a typo and told her not to worry they will forward directly to the embassy she can go. they stamp her passport showing st lukes and said we will email the embassy now also.

she had her interview this morning Sept 21st. they did not ask for anything!!! not her police clearance from Japan and Korea, I-134, or anything. only asked how we meet. but they still don't have medical from St Lukes. Arra asked the American consular if she is approved he answered "your ok". then goto window 5. no one would really say other wise. they did keep her passport. but no papers noting to her otherwise. she contacted St. Lukes and they said "supervisor was out of office. will send to embassy in morning"

I HATE ST LUKES!! they have delayed us almost a month already due to their incompetence. Arra didn't require the psych test, he told her so. now we are still waiting on them. what next?

  4. Yes she can still go. You just explain to the CO at the Embassy that you have the Psychologist meeting and they will issue a 221(g) at the end of the interview. Once they get the final medical then they will review it and at the end of the review, a decision will be forthright.

Or, you cancel your appointment and reschedule, but for when. There is no standard timeframe to which to work from. So it's Las Vegas odds. Besides, you can cancel twice, then it's penalty; pay the interview fee again AND wait 90 days to reschedule.

thank you for your prompt responses. alot of great info. i agree, that was what i was thinking. i will tell her to go to the interview on Friday.

  5. so a little update. our status is ready on the CEAC website so i believe we are good there. she went this morning to medical. did everything and her medical is good. BUT.... she was selected for "personal evaluation". never heard of this. they scheduled her to go back on SEPT 16th!!!! she was married before and had a annulment back in 2012. anyone hear of this before?

  6. just looking for some info. we finally got your MNL# on Thursday from NVC. My fiance went to bank on Friday (close holiday) , Saturday (no visa payments accepted) then on Monday and finally got to pay the $265 fee. she then went online and got a interview date of this Friday Aug 28th!!! that was the only date avail till Nov. I believe. she is on her way as we speak to do Medical (so today and tomorrow) anyone see a problem with getting this done and making the Interview on Friday? its been a loooong 8 1/2 months (waiting on NOA2)and we are fine with the rushed process. any reason or problems anyone see with this? i checked status at NVC and it says "in Transit"

any feedback is welcome. thanks everyone!!!

  7. Have you thought about getting a congressman involved? I've seen a few people recommend it, I'm thinking about. Also is your fiancé from the Philippines? I'm pretty sure all Filipino cases should be expedited...

nope, filipino visas are not expedited. there are several of us still waiting. i have had both of my state senators look into the visa. they both say exactly the same as USCIS. they are within normal processing times. nothing they can do.

  8. Any December filers still waiting at Texas? We've been waiting 238 days for our NOA2 and every time I check Igor's List on visajourney all I can see is that people from January and February are getting approved. It's so devastating. We called USCIS a week ago and all they said was our case is still processing 'normally' and just because people are getting approved after us doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with our case.

    :crying:

dec 15th here. they told us basically the same. zero info...

  9. Hello, Bobbieb!

One question: When did you file your petition?

...Also know that before speaking to the tier 2 officer that I mention on y post, I spoke with a few dry, robotic, helpless ones and they would´t really even say much. I called every week to speak to a tier 2 officer, as I felt some were more inclined to provide additional information than others. I might have been lucky to have spoken to the ones who gave me the information on the pending and then completed background check. But I have to admit that, while I was´t a pain in their butts, I was persistent.

My suggestion is to call every week until you get someone who will feel for you and maybe throw a little more information about your case, but then again, this really depends on how long you have already waited.

We have waited seven months and a half, and have even filed an inquiry on April 4th which to this day remains unassigned. I mentioned all of that, and maybe that´s why they felt as if it was fair to give me more information about our petition.

I hope you get more information on your next call, but better yet hope your NOA2 arrives soon. If you have ANY question you may feel I can help you with, PLEASE ASK.

    Good luck!

  10. The published timeline for USCIS service centers has changed several times in the last few months....I have a family members that work for the federal government per each of them it is a business it is ran like a business they have internal and external requirements. Why do you think if you write a letter to you Congressman then the process moves faster? Why do you think if you have an Attorney the process moves faster?

Business is a person, partnership, or corporation engaged in commerce, manufacturing, or a service; profit-seeking enterprise. Since the USCIS is REQUIRES fees for the service by it makes them a business by definition

    In addition, per Visa Journey

    I-129F for K-1 Visa

    CSC: June 22,2015

    I-129F for K-3 Visa

    CC: March 7,2015

    Per USCIS California Service Center

    I-129F

    Petition for Alien Fiance(e)

K-1/K-2 - Not yet married - fiance and/or dependent child

    5 Months

    I-129F

    Petition for Alien Fiance(e)

    K-3/K-4 - Already married - spouse and/or dependent child

    5 Months

Per the time the NOA1 was received on 2/27/15

    5 months is July 27, 2015

If those couples that have been waiting since Nov or DEC of 2014, are not calling an requesting the service, this is their choice.....

Apparently this couple has sat and waited the 5 months that is posted and they are now looking for answers.....................and they can if they so choice and require services be met and unless you are an employee of USCIS you cannot say what the person on the other line can say. What if they call the the person on the other end has compassion and say let me see about it and get it resolved right away.

No one but God can write or even decided the path of this couple will have, it is hard enough to deal with this process without spreading a defeated mindsets. If everyone would make real time requires, then it could the the system. I am sure you were not always able to pay for fees online, there at one time was a year wait for a NOA2. One step may be small but that is the step that God need you to make to effect major change .

Since you chose to bring up timelines let review yours

Per “YOUR” timeline your I-129F was approved 57 days after it was submitted.

Interview by 6/18/25 so form NOA-1 until your interview as 147 days

This couple was been WAITING for the NOA2. Roughly 150 days for only their NOA2 when you entire journey took 147….

What makes you case any more special or any more important? Their process began 30 days after your and based on you timeline they should be looking for an interview letter but the are waiting for a NOA2.

So you have NO idea what will be said to them because it was not said to you.

I pray that they call the USCIS and get the ball rolling for themselves...This is a hard path having to get approval from you government that you are in love and want to get married is enough to drive anyone crazy....then the fees and red tape....No to even speak of the wait that some have to endure.

uscis does not care about anyone they are processing visas. i am almost months waiting. have called several times, had 2 different senators look at it. they all say the same thing. they are within normal processing times. doesn't matter they move the date out. when i stated in Dec it was just over 5 months. now im at almost 8 months with over a month to go before they are at " normal Processing times"

  11. Hello! - THANK YOU for your time and for your comment/answer about my post/question.

Our I-129F petition was received on December 18, 2014 and it is being processed by the Texas Service Center.

A couple of weeks ago a Tier 2 officer said the case had been in the background unit since April 10, 2015 and that it had not left the background unit as of the day of that call. TODAY (July 31, 2015), I called again and another tier 2 officer said the case had been pending the results of either a background, name or security check and that´s why the long wait, and confirmed that the background, name or security check had been completed already and the case is back to normal processing.

Should I be any hopeful to get our NOA2 soon, given that the one thing that was holding the decision was now completed?

I have both senators from my state (MA) inquire on our behalf, but they haven´t gotten a response yet.

The tier 2 officer today was EXTREMELY nice and understanding (judged by the common standards). She provided a lot of information, such as ¨I see that someone called and is working on your case¨ (I´m thinking maybe the senator´s office staff...) She didn´t say WHEN the case left the background unit, but CONFIRMED it was already OUT OF THERE AND BACK TO NORMAL PROCESSING. She said, ¨give it at least 60 more days and if not call again, but hopefully there would be a decision by Monday, which could be

ALL COMMENTS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED. (I was hoping to post something short... then I found myself overly excited...)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your time and comment.

    CA and VA

so i called after seeing your post to check on mine. got right through, asked for tier 2 no problem. get lady on phone, she tell me they are within normal processing time. have no other info. i say tell me something, anything, background check done or we waiting on that? She said i dont show any info on my I-129F. zero, nothing. sorry.

why cant i ever get any answers? why am i different? same with both senators. they are within normal processing time. try again in 60 days. unreal.

  12. I have so much anger for CSC. I worry most about being one of those poor people that sees everyone else around them get approved and you still hear nothing. Some people from September are still waiting. That would be like us still hearing nothing in October. Its so scary. I hate this stupid process and CSC and everything. :(

i cant imagine being in their shoes. sept or Oct still waiting. but that may very well still be us. who knows. may still be here waiting in 3 more months. i def wont have any hair left thats for sure. make me want to smuggle her here!!! lol just venting. WE are only at the 6 month mark. moment it is approved all the ill feelings will be overwelmed with joy. my poor little pinoy fiance is so sick from stress im worried about her. got to stay positive....

  13. Dec 9th... and same thing.

got to love the TSC. CSC people are like hitting the lottery compared to TSC. its really not right. its really starting to stress us out. my fiance is getting sick from getting so stressed. i know one day it will be all over, but it should be based on who is together and who is apart.. so many people it doesnt matter how long cause they are here in the US already. we are told we dont qualify for a touris visa cause we already applied for the K-1 so just need to wait. qoute" its only about 5 months." here we are month 6 and still at step 1. so much BS always.
