In February, we had gotten a notice that our biometrics are being waived. But today, we got a notice in the mail that our appointment is on May 20th in St. Louis. That office is 3 1/2 hours away.

We have been eligible since May 5th & getting our papers mailed hopefully today. I enjoy being able to compare others timelines with ours. We are sending ours to CSC.

As of today, our status for the AOS has changed to card being produced and will be mailed!
-
My husband received his AP and EAD card today. Also, our AOS finally updated on the USCIS website. It says that the fingerprint fee was received on April 22, 2016. I hope it doesn't take much longer to get the GC.

This morning, we got an update that the I-131 is approved. ? Now, if they would just give us an update on the AOS.Congrats!

I finally got an update on my husbands EAD on the USCIS website. It was approved on July 22, 2016! Hopefully, it will arrive in the mail this week. No update on our AOS or AP yet.

We are still waiting for updates. We are still unable to check the status on the USCIS website. Our NOA1 date was 4/25 which was 64 days ago. We attempted to call USCIS but with the automated system, we were unable to get to a person. I hope something updates soon!
I am curious on the interview. I work with a girl that did the K-1 and AOS last year and she said they didn't have to attend an interview for the PR card. Is the interview at the office we did the biometrics? That is 3 hours away from me so I am hoping I don't have to return.

My husband got his biometrics done today in St. Louis. It was quick and easy.
I see a few people posting about ready for interview. Is the interview at my local USCIS office?

Well after reading about many others doing walk-ins. I figured well, I have my appointment notice and the time so why not. The most they can do is turn me around because it wasn't my scheduled date.
So if you have the letter and the time, I'd say go on and give it a shot.
Good luck.
Unfortunately, I live a little over 3 hours away from the USCIS office. I would be afraid of attempting a walk-in and getting turned away. For people that live close by, I could understand doing this.
-
How are people not going to the biometrics on the day scheduled and just walking in? I finally was able to find a couple of nurses to trade with me so we can make it on the scheduled date.

Nice to see posts from fellow st.louis people.
Yes, it is nice to see someone else that has to go to the same office.
I am having difficulty finding someone to work for me. I just wish I didn't have to drive 3 hours for his appointment.

We got our biometrics appointment today in the mail. It is for May 26th in St. Louis. I am not sure I can get off work that day.

Is there official source for this where I could read it on?
The embassy didn't ask about it from the email. And I'll make the updated one for both of us. When my fiancé did the petition, he only sent them one letter which included all of the points, he made it for both of us, there wasn't even my signature in it.
If you check the step-by-step guide on filing the K1 on visa journey, it states on the section "What to send your fiancé" on #3 that a new letter of intent is needed from the US fiance. You might want to check with the embassy to see if it is needed. It does need to be an original with a signature. I don't think the embassy asked for it but I included just in case.
Here is the link to the guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
I had gathered my affidavit of support in August and September and mailed it in October. My fiancé (now husband) didn't have his interview till the beginning of November. I would think you would be fine.
Good luck!

Our case numbers are now available on USCIS website 11, May 2016.
Ours still aren't showing up but hopefully they will soon!
-
We are experiencing the same thing! We got our NOA1 on April 21st and our case numbers are getting errors!
I am glad we aren't along in this. I don't understand why the case numbers haven't been logged.

You seem pretty calm
not like everyone who files their docs is that patient
LOL! DH and I have been stalking the mailman this week! It seems like we should be getting our biometrics appointment soon. We have to drive 3 hours away for it.

We are filing AOS from a K-1 visa. We mailed our I-485, I-131 & I-765 on April 18th. We received our NOA 1 on April 23rd. We keep checking the USCIS website for an update & we get an error that our receipt number isn't recognized. We are just waiting to hear what is next.

My fiancé had his interview today & it was approved!!! He will be called when his passport is ready. So excited!!!

My fiancé has an appointment this Thursday. He talked to the counselor on the phone today & set up an appointment to bring in all the packet 3 paperwork. We think this might be an interview but not sure.

Thanks to everyone for your help and support!

We are about done with getting info together. Only thing left is his police report from Bahrain. It should be ready at the beginning of the week. He filled out the DS-160 today. He just needs to pay his visa fee & should be able to get an interview date soon.
Congrats to all approved all ready!!

Thanks KASH2011 & Trinaqueen for your replies. I reread the email he forwarded to me. It states in the email that after he has all his paperwork together, that he does the DS-160 prior to getting an interview date. He is close to getting all his paperwork together!

We went to our biometrics appointment in St. Louis on 5/20 and received a notice that it was approved on 5/20. Today he received his green card in the mail. I wasn't expecting it to get approved right after our appointment.
