Hey everyone!!! I had my interview today and I was APPROVED!! Yayyy I'm so happy and so relieved that this is over now!

Promise I will get back with details about the interview, tomorrow. I'm exhausted right now and just want to sleep lol.

Thanks to all the VJ members for helping me. Finally I got a IL for Jan 12th I am so happy!!!

So my lawyer says he submitted all the documents needed at nvc last week but when I check the ds260 it is still not filled.isnt he required to fill the ds260 for nvc process to complete. Please help really confused

Yes you need to submit the DS-260 before sending the documents you can fill the DS-260 by yourself. Below are the steps.

The same thing happened to my case too almost 4 weeks back my case was completed and on Friday morning when I logged in I seen the 3 N/A's. Waiting for the IL.

My husband was approved today!!

I was confident and faithful!!

But I still woke up every hour until I got that text from hubby saying I am done with the interview and I will be coming to get my visa on Tuesday at 2pm!

5 HOURS after my husband was supposed to have his interview, they finally called him in. He sat in the embassy all this time! By the time he called me, I was a nervous wreck and was googling home remedies for nausea caused by anxiety!

When he called, he told me he was kept waiting all that time and had just got his phone and was able to call.....then our call cut and it took 15 minutes to get back in touch! I was FREAKING OUT because I still didn't know the results!.......Finally I have learned that we are...........

APPROVED!!!!!!!!

This is a miracle for us, on account of the FBI thing. When someone (which I'm sure was family members of mine!) filed a FALSE FBI report that my husband is a terrorist (they are against me marrying a Muslim), a full blown FBI and NSA investigation was launched. When I was interviewed by an FBI agent in late September, he told me not to expect my husband to be able to come to the USA for a very long time, because they would have to make quite sure the report was truly false before he could be approved. Since then I have been in such major PRAYER to break this stronghold that was quite effectively put up to keep us apart! GOD ANSWERS FERVENT PRAYER even in awful circumstances!

Tell me about it! Your guess is as good as mine. The only thing that makes sense to me is coin toss, can't imagine any heavy duty number crunching NVC engages in. Ha! I call everyday, some days thrice! Today though I am only going to call once.p, at the end of the day. That might do the trick.

Hahahaha Yeah its really funny I stopped calling and thinking that as I am in the F2A category and the IR1/CR1 will take the precedence over the F2A.

How come you didn't get the interview scheduled did you call NVC as your case completed on Oct 23rd and you should be getting too.

I am really curious that what criteria does NVC take into consideration to schedule the interviews.

You should get it soon .IR1/CR1 don't have to wait but since your priority date is current you should get it.I am getting ready for the interview collected everything hope it goes all well..best of luck to you too..

Yes you are right Arrow and as my case went to the Supervisor review and by gods grace it completed on October 23rd and 3 days back some of the IR1/CR1 people got their interview scheduled for the Bombay consulate and their CC date is same as mine too. I dont know how the NVC schedules interviews does the IR1/CR1 gets the preference over the F2A if so then there is no chance that I am getting an interview for the December.

If I get scheduled for the December then I am the luckiest person let see what happens

If look in this forum some people got the interview letter within 24 hours. I think you will receive it by tomorrow evening.

Finally interview but only for wife...I tried to expedite 2 completed cases 9/14 for (wife & child) and received email today that I will received email shortly for wife interview December 1...and received another email that child's case was approved for expedite....not sure what to do I would think they would schedule both cases or expedite both cases..

As per my knowledge you don't have to pay the fee at the time of interview or before the interview and you can pay the Fee after completing your interview that fee is for the Green Card that means the charge ti make that card

Does anyone's priority is current and waiting for the interview as I see that for the past three days there are scheduling the interviews. My priority date is May 2014 and case completed on October 23rd still no interview.

Just checking that does any F2A people were scheduled for the interview in the past 3 days.

No Luck Bond just now I called and still no interview. does the IR1/CR1 differs from F2a I dont know how the NVC schedules the interview.

Called them up on Friday 6th Nov (Upgraded to CR1). Before that on 1-Nov (was still in F2A). After that today, called up two times just to confirm that I am getting the correct date. Now to book my tickets for India. Actually it's my wife's interview, I became citizen on 17-Aug.

This is for my wife too and I am expecting the interview to be scheduled and I am in F2A and our priority date is current too.

I do not know. I just called them to check status and he told me congrats your interview is scheduled. Was surprised as I was expecting it to be late Dec or early Jan based on the timelines. May be they expedited, I am not sure.

15-Oct Case Complete on (By Email)

8-Oct Actually completed on in their system. Talked to operator.

6-Nov - Upgrade to IR/CR1 (after talking to supervisor and expediting it). Had sent them upgrade request on 17-Aug.

10-Nov Called up NVC. Interview scheduled for 1-Dec 730am. Confirmed by calling again. Still no email though.

01-Dec 730 am Interview date in Mumbai. Finally.

Congrats and good luck for your interview. In the past 10 days did you ever called NVC about case? as just to see whether your interview was scheduled in the first batch or scecond batch.
