My husband has been in AP since Nov 20 2014! Almost 8 months now with only one update on 6/20/15. The Embassy does answer my emails but all they say is "your case is undergoing necessary administrative processing, please continue to wait". Our 4 year old son has now been referred to therapy for depression and our 1 year old daughter doesn't remember daddy of course! I am losing hope!

My husband has been in AP for 7 months now and we don't know what to do anymore. My children are suffering from depression and honestly, so am I! UStraveldocs website says that it can take from 60 days "up to eight months". On 7/20/15 he will have 8 months in AP so I'm wondering if they will have to give us a response by then or can they take longer than that?????

My husband went to three interviews and was placed under AP (221g) as of Nov 20 2014. He is currently still in AP in Guatemala waiting for a response. I hope your wife's country works faster! He also had his I-601A approved before he left.
