Thank you. My parent's cases are two seperate I-130's. So they're not being processed "together" My dad's is the one that said approved, my mothers still says "case was received..." They're both being processed in California and from reading some other forums for CSC cases some were approved within 10-30 days.

It goes by the state you live in and the lockbox where you sent the application.
But can someone help me here...My parents I-130 was sent in April and we receive NOA1 on May 1st. My father who's in south africa sent me a text early this morning super excited that he checked the status on uscis website and it said "case was approved may 14, 2015" by the time I woke up and saw it and called him to confirm he checked again and status changed again and now it's saying "we received your case May 1st" what the heck! I went from being super excited to being bummed in a matter of 5 minutes. Has this happened to anyone? Their service center is California

@Hildlove you applied your case in February and it was approved in April? Can you please share your experience with the process? They accepted my parents documents 2 weeks ago my dad checked online this morning and it said "case was approved may 14, 2015" he just checked status again and it changed back to "case was received"

Hi everyone. I petitioned for both my parents to come to the States. This morning my father checked his status and it had changed to "case was approved on May 14 2015" he's in South Africa so he notified me while I was sleeping (time difference) when I woke up and saw the message I was ecstatic. Everyone was so happy. He just checked it again just now and it's changed back to "your case was received" how sad!!! Has this happened to anyone before? Case was just accepted at their offices 2 weeks ago. Is it possible to have been approved for the next stage? I'm not even sure what's going on and I don't want to call them in case it really is approved for the next stage. They still need to do their medicals then the visa process. Can anyone share their experience?
