Does anyone else have more insight regarding Tax issues and k1? We are still being held back by his leins. Our worry is once we get on a payment plan with IRS, budget will be tight. We are wondering if it will even affect K1 application, will they see that he owes about 80K in taxes? If they deduct that from his income, he will still be above the poverty limit. But will they see and will they care? 

My fiancé has a couple of liens from the IRS for back taxes he owe. Would this affect our fiance visa application? I have tried googling about this topic but get very limited answers. Has anyone ever filed fiance visa petition while owing IRS? We are just starting to gather everything we need for filing the visa application but this tax problem has been holding us back
