@yesandtolove Did you apply for your N-400 ? If so, this denotes them bundling your cases and scheduled a combined I-751/N-400 interview ? If not, it's a case transfer to another processing center (NSC.TSC) to process your case. It's a good sign, folks have gotten their approvals after transfer in less than a month,

We did not apply for N-400.

  2. Hi All,

My husband was recently ticketed by the MTA in New York City for fare evasion. He has an unlimited monthly metrocard and got on a bus; but for this particular bus (even though it's not marked clearly anywhere) you need to have a receipt upon entry to prove you paid. He had his hearing this morning, and was still found guilty, and had to pay a fine, although the judge even said on his paperwork that the MTA was not actually deprived of a fare because he had his unlimited card. Will this affect his naturalization? He has not committed any other crimes, and would literally not harm a fly. But I want to be prepared and am trying to look at this objectively. Has anyone else had experience with this? It's so minor, and in our minds no crime was actually committed, it's just the MTA trying to make a quick buck. But I know USCIS looks at these things with a different mindset...

  3. It's been a while since I had to worry about forms, so I'm a little fuzzy! We don't have to apply until August, but i'm trying to get everything done as soon as I possibly can. Looking at the first page of the I-751 form, there is a field that asks for USCIS Online Account Number... what is this? The only thing I can think of is the receipt number I have from filing the I-29, but i'm not sure. Can anyone advise?

  4. No it wasn't mentioned on the DS-160 that I would be in attendance. I planned this trip about a month and a half ago ago before Dan even went in for his medical. Once he submitted his notification of readiness, I thought it might be a possibility that the interview date/trip might overlap, but didn't know for sure until we got our official letter late last week!

Was just curious if any other U.S. petitioners on here were allowed to be in the waiting room!

  5. So my fiance and I just got our interview date - June 5th - YAY! Coincidentally, I already had a trip planned to visit him at the beginning of June and will be in the UK on June 5th. Obviously I know that I can't actually be in the interview room with him, but can I stay in the waiting room with him? I couldn't find a definitive yes or no answer on the London embassy website.
