  1. I just talked NVC and was told that it's not necessary to send NVC a copy of Naturalization Certificate as NVC has done the interview schedule. Mom and kid shall go to the interview. It'll be decision of visa officer to issue visa to the kid. So good luck.

  2. First your wife and baby shall go together for the interview. You may be lucky if the officer will give them both the visa stamp after your wife told the officer you're US citizen. If so, it'll save your money, time, and headache efforts.

If you're not in rush, you can just wait for submitting I130 for your baby after the interview date.

  3. So when you filed petition for my wife and baby, you filed one I130 for wife, and separate one for baby. Then you will not need to file another I-130 for your baby again after you became US citizen. If the interview date has been scheduled, then you have nothing to worry about it.

I have similar case as yours. When I filed petition for my wife and daughter based on F2A, I filed two I-130. Their priority date will become current by October Visa Bulletin (to be out around mid of Sep) and I have been scheduled for oath ceremony at mid of Sep. So weird and incident! Both will come at the same time. From my naturalization interview done to the oath ceremony, it will take 2 months.

Good luck and update me if convenient to you.
