  1. They're not asking for a joint sponsor and your income is more than enough.

I think they mean that you didn't check off whether you were a US citizen or an LPR. Also, make sure your signature is an original and not a copy.

It seems like they received all other supporting documents so you would just need to submit the I-864EZ form again.

    Teeak,

thank you. got abit excited thinking it was case complete oh wells hopefully we can get an interview by October. fingers crossed :-)

  2. Hi All,

I just got an email from NVC today and got a check list. I wanted to know what do I send. Do I just resend everything I sent or just the affidavit of support signed and dated. (which I believe I signed and dated). I know I sent a copy of my passport and its up to date but ill send it anyways.

also for them saying I don't meet the minimum income for 2? what is the poverty line for 2, isn't it $22,912 (Hawaii) x 125% = $28,640 which I make 35-40k a year. would I still need a second sponsor?

    thank you :-)

    ______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________

We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial

documents. We found that you didn't provide all the necessary supporting documents or you had

incomplete information or you missed some questions on the Affidavit of Support form(s).

On the attached Affidavit of Support checklist, we have put an "X" by each item you need to correct.

You must send additional financial supporting documents or complete and submit a new form with the

corrections noted on the attached checklist, or both. You will need to go to the Department of State's

website at http://nvc.state.gov/aosand follow the instructions for the Affidavit of Support form(s). From

there, you can fill out a new form online, then print and send it to the NVC. Please read all instructions

and send the necessary forms and supporting documents to the NVC. We require an Affidavit of Support

form for each case regardless of your income level.

Your case is on hold until you send us the items we need. When you return the documents to the NVC,

please make sure that the documents are in the correct order and stapled together, as stated in the I-864

    Important Notice instructions.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

    address provided.

We reviewed the Affidavit of Support documentation you sent to the National Visa Center

(NVC). According to the current poverty guidelines, it does not appear you or any of your

sponsors meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrant(s)

for this petition. To avoid delays, you may have an additional sponsor complete an

Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) and provide it to the intending immigrant to submit at

their interview. At that time, a consular officer will make a decision regarding this

    requirement.

  3. they re most likely be working on it as they already shut down the NVC database which mean to me that they ll reconnect it to DOS database and updated with the currents data. it might not be fixed by Monday but im hoping will be by the end of the week

Ok sounds good. Been holding off on sending my payments so hopefully sometime next week. Not in a hurry but wifey is flying back so praying to have it done before the end of the year ?

  4. Just called NVC to make sure they received my payments, and its showing on their system PAID for both AOS and IV..their system will be down starting 330pm today til monday and fingers crossed everything will be back to normal early next week..i just mailed my docs today..hopefully next week we'll all be able to access online, fill up DS260 and get everything done!!! Stay positive!!!

Hopefully it will be fixed next week. but I doubt it, its 4th of July weekend and I don't think they would be working. :(

  5. I got an email from NVC, same as my welcome letter with AOS fee but the email has an invoice for IV fee. So I'm guessing that they had reviewed my DS-261 (choice of agent etc.) after I had set it up over the phone. But I still cant log on to pay AOS and IV fees.

Should I just go ahead and pay my AOS fee since its not as much as IV fee or just wait to pay both online.

    thanks.

  6. just called NVC to update and set up my agent. Also asked about when will I be able to pay my AOS fee online and the lady helping me said to just pay it by mail because they don't have a estimated date on when the site will be fixed. But she did say that she will put me on the list.

So should I just mail my AOS fee and papers or wait? don't know what else to do.

Happy our case got approved quick but like some of us we cant log on to ceac to do anything.

    thanks..

  7. Hi everyone,

I received my case number and INN number along with a checklist and aos invoice for $120 on June 5th and been waiting for the site to be fixed. I cant log on and pay or do anything, I still get the message " Sign In Failed
The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered do not match our records. Please try again or click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you have forgotten your Case Number or Invoice Identification Number"

I called nvc on June 11 and they told me someone was working on it and she couldn't help me assign an agent etc. ad to call back tomorrow. so I don't know if I should send in my payment for my aos and IV papers or just wait till the site gets fixed?

FYI: NVC received my I-130 on may 27th

  8. Have you gotten a case number and IIN yet from NVC? NVC received my case June 5 and still haven't been assigned a case number yet. Going to call again on Friday.

yup, I got a case number a inn numbers. but it still get error sign in failed message. I called nvc to day to try and set up my agent etc. but the told me someone was already working on my case and she could not do anything. they said to call tomorrow.

  9. How soon will NVC process our case when we get I-130 approved?

    IR1 Visa

    Service Center: Vsc

    Marriage: 2014/05/16

    I-130 Sent: 2015/04/16

    NOA 1: 2015/04/21

    NOA 2: Waiting...Waiting.......and Waiting.......

    NVC Received: hoped for July

NVC got my I-130 on may 27th and got my NOA 2 on June 5th. Still cant go on line to pay my fees etc. But my papers seemed to have been expedited (did not ask for It because I wasn't qualified) So hopefully you will get yours by the end of this month.

  10. Probably, you were staying with your foreign spouse in his(her) country?

    Hi Sekharuli,

nope we both are living apart. she is in Madrid Spain and I am in Hawaii. we have never stayed together longer than 3 months at a time and we been together for 11years.

We both are from the Philippines, I moved to Hawaii when I was 3 and she moved to Spain when she was 7. I'm not a naturalized us citizen and don't have a PI citizenship. While my wife has a espana citizenship. we got married in the Philippines in our hometown and my wife got her Pi passport just so she doesn't need to go to the Spanish embassy to sign papers for our wedding. funny thing is, when I tried to get a Philippines passport etc. I was denied even though I was born in the Philippines and have my pi birth certificate.

my guess is that it could have been because we got married in the Philippines? after reading these forums I was expecting it to take awhile, but am thankful that it got approved quick. now im stuck on paying fees etc. since the website is down :-/

  11. HI Everyone,

been on here for awhile just looking and reading.

But here is my story and progress:

    - been together since 2003.

    - we got married in Jan. 18, 2014 in PI.

    - Filed for I-130 on April 1, 2015 to phoenix lock box then sent to Nebraska and got my NOA on April 10th.

    - Then on May 7th I got a text message saying my I-130 got approved.

FYI we are both foreign nationals, I am from Hawaii and my wife is from Madrid but we were born in the PI but I was legally a US citizen not a Filipino citizen because of my father, but my wife holds a dual passports, Euro and PI, she moved there when she was 7 years, and got her PI passport before we got married to make it easier on us.

So I don't know if that help us at all but we both do not live in the Philippines and my I-130 already got approved just waiting couple more days to the end of the moth to call nvc. I was expecting to be longer before ours got approved. Just need to be patient!! :D
