My green card process is EB3, employer sponsored. It's a lengthy process because after becoming a Canadian Citizen in 2007, I didn't follow the green card process well. However my ex employer is kind enough to continue my GC process.
EB3 priority date Nov 2003 (Employer sponsored)
I 140 approved in 2009
Priority date became current last year October.
Submitted DS260 today (May 11, 2015)
After few months of reluctance, I filed my DS260 today through my lawyer today (May 11, 2015) and got the receipt.
I live in Toronto, Canada area and the interview location could be Ottawa or Montreal. My lawyer told me that NVC will send a checklist to submit civil documents then I can file them electronically.
Can someone tell me what is next? and How long it will take from here to get the Interview at the consulate in Canada?
