Thanks All. Today status changed to administrative processing, non immigrant. Hoping for quick issuance.
Were you issued a couple of days after?

Same here. Spent almost 10 hours to finish the interview. Seems like K1 isn't their priority so they put us last. I remember the embassy almost empty already and the ones left were just K1 applicants. We've gone this far already so let's get strength from each other to be more patient. I'm sorry you have to stay in Manila this long. Keep on updating. I'll be here to update you as well.

Hi graceygee! Maybe nga we've bumped into each other that time, I spent about 10 hours at the embassy that time. Haha This thing requires patience big time! kaloka! Yes, let's just keep giving updates to make each other feel better naman somehow. I'm just hoping they won't prolong our agony of waiting, not naman sana for a month. Lord hear our prayers.

Hi. I had my interview June 1 as well so maybe we've seen each other. It seems like it's taking a longer time now for them to process the visas. For what reason, we can only assume. My status changed to AP on June 9 despite getting verbal approval from the consul. I'm confident that there's nothing wrong with our cases. We just need to be more patient and keep updating each other since we're from the same batch. Let's hope usem speeds it up a little.

I had my interview and got my visa approved last Monday, 1st of June 2015. My fiance and I are wondering how much longer do we need to wait for the visa to be issued because I've been staying in Manila since my visa was approved, we changed the delivery option to pick up in 2Go SM North branch instead of delivering it to my home address in Davao hoping to avoid any delays. I've constantly checked the status online and it says "Ready" for several days now and it was last updated June 8th. We called the help line regularly and was told "Kindly wait for text and email". Getting impatient here.

I noticed that as well when I called them up that there's no option for visa status so I just pressed any number until I reached the option to speak with an agent. I told the agent that I didn't know if I pressed the right option but I'm calling for visa status. She then asked for the UID and passport number, put me on hold, and checked my profile. You can try doing that.

Well we sent the NBI at a 2GO branch literally within walking distance of the embassy on 4/28. On 4/29 2GO tracking showed it was delivered. 4/30 CEAC status date updated -- Probably inserting the doc into our file. Our status still says:
"Your case is under administrative processing. Please see the letter you received at your interview for more information. If you are required to submit additional documents, please submit them to the U.S. Embassy via any branch of 2GO courier service (Attn: Immigrant Visa Unit) together with a copy of the letter."
I've emailed them 3 times, where the 3rd time I asked to confirm they received the doc... I got the same copy/paste email reply for all 3 telling me to wait and keep checking CEAC.
You can't call them anymore. They've removed the option to speak to an agent about visa status. I've tried both Philippine and US based phone numbers.

Have you called up USEM if they received your updated NBI already? I would assume that your status should change into ready once received. Maybe they haven't received it yet? 2 months is too much just for 1 additional document. Hope your status changes tomorrow.

I would love for our case to be "touched", just to show they're at least working on it. Our status message and date hasn't changed for almost 2 months, I'm beginning to think they lost our file .
If your case hasn't been touched in a long time, that just means you're in a long queue right? Maybe one day, when a CO is feeling overly zealous and had a great breakfast, and when the planets are aligned just right, they'll process us!

Status changed to AP today after being stuck on Ready for 8 days. Hmmm....

Fayriebaby, what visa did you apply for?

Hi Mean. Same here. Interview was June 1 and up to date still Ready. Will keep on updating.

For those who had their K1 Visa Interviews at USEM Manila fir the months May-June 2015, kindly post the date of your interview and when your visa was issued (if applicable) so recent interviewees can have an idea of the most recent wait time. Thanks.

Thank you fo your input. I received a reply from the USEM already and they updated my DS160 number from old to new. So for those who are encountering the same issue, don't panic. Old DS160 number will normally appear if you used your old account to make an appointment. Please refrain from making a new account as the USEM is fast in updating infos like passport number and ds160 number. All you need to do is send the necessary attachments (old and new bio page of passport, new ds160 confirmation) with explanation of what needs to be updated to their feedback link and they'll update it for you within 24 hours. Once updated, you will receive an email asking you to log back to your profile to check it.

Thank you for your input. I also needed to change my passport number and so I called up the embassy. The embassy updated my passport number because they told me I was not supposed to make a new one as they wanted to see the visa history. After they updated the passport number, they gave me the go signal to book which I did. I already emailed them back again and will post their reply here so others with the same issue can know.

Several years ago, I got issued a B1/B2 visa. Now, I'm applying for a K1 Visa. Just recently, I booked my interview and the OLD DS 160 number appearedin my appointment confirmation. Is there a way to update this? I've seen a few answers online but nothing seems definite or was written about somebody who went through the same issue. My appointment is with the Manila USEM. Hope somebody can enlighten me about this. Thanks.
