  1. Thank you everybody for your input.

She was in US for 5 years as Citizen, moved to Pakistan in July 2015 and got married. She has been in Pakistan since then which is now 14 months approximately.

She wants to avoid CRB as it is time consuming and expensive (Over $1000 with 2-3 months processing for DNA processing). It seems DNA test is a requirement for CRB.

What are other options other than CRB?

  2. My Sister is a US Citizen married in Pakistan, I-130 was approved, filed DS260 a few weeks ago, have not received any approval yet, all supporting documents and AOS were mailed same day. She is about to have a baby in Pakistan.

1- Can she add the baby to her husband's DS260, if yes how?

2- Does she and the baby have to go through DNA testing at time of interview , its very costly and time consuming.

3- Anyone went through same thing in Pakistan, how was their experience in Islamabad embassy?

    Thanks!

  3. Folks who are considering the option to send fee by mail, I would suggest to wait for one more week till 07/10/2015 as per notice below that was issued on 06/29/2015 ; they are estimating the online system for immigrant section to be fixed next week.

"We are still experiencing problems with some online immigrant visa application forms. We hope to have a fix in place for this by early next week."

I hope they keep their time line as promised this time; considering the 4th of July long weekend.

I did pay my IV fee via mail and got email to submit DS260 after 7 days (once payment was processed plus phone call to them) and I hope can submit DS260 next week.
