You did not say if they kept your passport, sounds like they did, just wondering.
Keeping passport, means, usually you passed.
I hope it was good for you, and they kept your passport.
yes they did keep my passport. but because of the backlogs I am expecting my visa within 2 weeks. tho at CEAC says it is still "ready"
I am hoping to hear an answer from them really soon.
Thank you!

I was interviewed on June 4,2015 but until now it says "Ready" & the last update was June 10. Im kinda worried because I just flew back to Philippines from US for this interview. Hope everything is ok.
I heard that there's a glitch with the embassy's visa and US passport printing as well.

They took my old passport. But i guess they will mail it back to me with my visa.

No wonder I have been tracking my passport/visa from them and didnt get any update but "Ready." The scariest part is there is a note there that i am ready for interview apppointments..but... i am done with it on June 4. They took my passport, no additional documents requested and told me to go home.
Hope CEAC will be really back on June 13.
Thank you for the update.

It is better to seek for an Immigration Lawyer's help.

I mean... *he would experience WITHOUT me*
Sorry for that typo.

I have my 601 waiver approved and now I am here in philippines waiting for my visa.
There are 2 steps to do. I forgot how u call the 1st step but the 2nd step was about proving the extreme hardship the petitioner (US citizen spouse or children)will experience without the beneficiary. My lawyer sent my husband to a psychologist to have him evaluated for the hardship he would experience with me..this will help for the "extreme hardship part." Then she asked us to gather all evidence that we are married and leaving in a house together. We are married for 12 years by the way so it is very easy to prove in our part. Step 2 is the hardest part of the journey. And now of course, the waiting game with my visa released.

Hi,
I had my interview on June 4, 2015 and no affidavit of support was being asked from me. I still have it. I was told on "releasing window" USEM Manila, that I may now go home.
Will I have a problem waiting for my visa?
Praying and hoping not.

Congrats!
I had my interview on june 4 and been monitoring my visa status...still in "Ready." I want to see the "Issued" on CEAC very soon since my USC husband and daughter are returning to US on the 18th already.

If he was asked to come back, he should.
I had my interview on June 4th but when,I checked CEAC, it says "Ready" and said im ready for my interview appointment (which is obviously done). It is kinda confusing but yes they wont say "issued" until it be being really issued.

That is how they do it. They do not tell you if you are approved or not. It happened to me...i had my interview June 4. They told me i can go home but, when i checked the status of my visa, it says "Ready." Its been 5 working days now.

Hello,
He can attend anytime but without the visa, he has to come back for the emigrant sticker in his passport. They wont issue the sticker until u have the visa.
I will suggest to just wait for the visa to be issued before he goes there.

How long they will be ready for pick up?
And if it is mailed, do I have to be home to receive it?
We do not have address in Philippines so I will have to ask my friend to receive it for me since will be travelling to Boracay while waiting.
Thank u!

Hello, i have an interview for IR1 on June 4, someone said I can pick up my Visa at any 2go outlet or MOA (Mall of Asia, Philippines). Do you know how long will it be available for me to pick it up?
Thank u!
affidavit of support was not requested during interview

Yes i am aware of the backlog. But all of my non immigrant friends got their visas just this week and i was interviewed before them. I figured immigrant visas are still in backlog.
I only check with the passsport tracker but no update yet. I call 2go directly almost evryday since last week (they already know me there, haha). CEAC is not working accurately.
Thank u!.
