How did your interview go? This is off topic from my original question, but did they want to see tons of pictures? My husband & I will be married 7 years on July 26 & the interview is July 27. I spent 100 pesos printing pictures today. We have tons on the computer, but hardly ever print any. We are also going to the interview with our three small children. Hoping, no issue there, but they are all U.S. citizens.

I havent had my interview yet. It is scheduled for August.I just signed to the DHL tracking site as required by the embassy. Our tipe of visa is EB3 (permanent work) so I dont know if procedures are different. We will show up to the interview with 4 children but in our case we are required to because both I and our children are the applicants (my husband) dependents.

Just choose any pick up location, hit continue and at the end of the process it will give you the option to have it mailed to your address. It should be 30 dollar per visa.

I did it yesterday.

Cc May 5th, how come I can't get appointment dates like others. Oh Jesus, come my aid. Guys pray for me, can't sleep anymore, just nightmares.

yay!! Got our interview day too! I had already called in the morning but rep said no interview scheduled yet. But then i got the magic e-mail (surprisingly enough they sent the e-mail the same date they scheduled my interview!)

Check list scan date May 14, i called yesterday and the rep said she will flag the case for supervisor review ? I asked how long it will take and she said she really doesnt have a time frame for a supervisor review, how do I know if I have to wait the 40+ days for supervisor review? Ugh how does NVC work? How is it that people with checklist scan dates after may 14 are getting cc? Do they randomly choose what case to review? ???????

I understand how you feel. But trust me...this will end at some point. I am talking from experience.. my case has been at nvc since may 2013!! This is 2 years and 1 month. And today it is finally over. Nobody more than me understands the frustration and loss of hope that get to you at some point. But i never stopped trusting in God, although we had to faced some pretty bad moments. And today I can finally say that we can move forward. My scan date may have been only 27 days from checklist..but my case has been stuck here since 2 years! More than most vj i have heard of. So keep your hopes up.. The day will come when you will be finally free.

Does anibody know in wich language the interview at the embassy is usually done? Does it have to be in English? Or can it be done in the home language?

Daveadams, I just got my Checklist scan date e-mail this morning, it says my documents was received on May 29....So that will be our new SD. I can be added on the SPREADSHEET now. The wait starts again. Demnnnn

Good Morning all!

I got a check list on the 8th of May to send my son's biographical page. My lawyer sent it immediatly, but i called twice since (last time being today) and was told they have not received it yet. Is this normal? Does it really take 3 weeks and more for them to receive a document?

My lawyer says to just wait and that they have delays processing so they probably have not gotten to it yet. But three weeks seems a lot to me.

Any experiences on this? Does it really take this long just to receive it?

I know i had to send the original copy (both of the marriage certificate and the birth certificates) translated and certified and then i also had to certify the translation (because in italy there is no such thing as an "albo dei traduttori" so any translation you make (even if made by a translation office has to be certified. I have been told that international certificates are not accepted.

Check list yesterday (8 may) for a document I already sent twice!!! Theese people are beyond unbelievable!!! I sent it immediately so I'm guessing my new SCAN DATE will be 8 MAY (EP). The e-mail said 45 days to review ?

You only need to email your congressman. Google to find his email address and telephone numbers.

Have you considered contacting your senator/congressman? We waited for too long(63 days) before our papers were reviewed before the checklist.. but they were reviewed once the congressman intervened. We still in the journey but it feels better when you know they are working on your papers.Cheers

I live in Italy and just calling nvc is a big deal (in terms of timings and costs). I wouldn't know how to contact a senator or congressman

Yes I already had a couple of checklists since my case is at nvc. The last one being on the 24th of December for ds-260 for my son. I sent that right away and was waiting until know. Then it looked to me that it was taking to much time so yesterday I called and found out they are still waiting for that form. They do not see it on their sistems. But when I log on to my case it says it is complete and sent (in January!)

The operator told me usually the review takes 42 days (isn't it the supervisor review that usually takes 42 days?) but he said that this case is particular so he dosent know actually how long it will take. I'm not sure if I should call again right away or wait at least a week before I all. If I call what can I ask?

last scan date after check list 6th january (EP)

After waiting for so long without any news, finally yesterday i decided to call nvc to see what was going on. I had received a check list for my last son's DS-260 on the 24th of december 2014 and completed it on the 6th of january 2015. But yesterday operator at nvc said they do not have it in their sistem. I doubled checked ond offered to read the confirmation number i had for it but he said that it was not necessary, that he belived me and that it was very weird. He sayd he would put me under review (I'm not sure if this means under SUPERVISOR review or just REGULAR review again?). I find this whole thing very awkward. Beside the frustration of the wait. How can it be possible for me to sign in on nvc and see that the DS-260 is complete and for them not to see it? Has this ever happened to anibody before? I hope it wont take too long now...
