Visa approved @ Mumbai India. A nervous experience but my wife pulled it through...6 or 7 people before her in the waiting line were denied visa.

I just called NVC after reading NVC is confirming dates on phone for Mumbai India and got myself an interview date for OCT 5th. The lady said NVC scheduled a ton of them on the 10th and they are sending out the emails and I will get the email in a day or two.

Once again thanks to all you nice people and I wish you all get your interviews scheduled.

My case was completed on Aug 4th.Waiting for an interview date since then. Any ideas on how long would NVC take to schedule an interview.My case would be going to Mumbai India.

No ...just a regular process... and if it wasn't for the checklist i received on 22nd June my wife would be getting ready for interview ...that checklist added three weeks and am waiting for interview date ...

Called nvc today. The agent that I talked to told me that it takes 30-45 days for the ds 260 to get reviewed be cause of the high volume they are receiving. I politely ask if I could speak to a supervisor. She told me that they would tell me the same thing and they can't really do anything about it and just told me to wait. I still insist of talking to one and she said she'll find one if there's anyone availabe. Put me in hold for a couple of minutes. Went back and told me no one is available and told me that she'll ask a supervisor to call me back. Back in my head. Yeah right. Said thanks and hang up.

Sorry to hear that and am not sure why you have a hard time reaching out to a supervisor. I called and asked for one supervisor two weeks ago (that was my first time calling)when i received a checklist and called every other day for two weeks and asked for the same exact supervisor and got hold of him 4 times and got my case closed. I just called the nvc an hour ago to see if my ds 260 was reviewed because i did not receive a conformation saying my case was closed other than the being told by the supervisor on phone and 3 N/A's on the ceac website and the lady told me in my case they dont have to review it and i will receive a conformation in a few days with a interview date....

as you have mentioned before , if you got the confirmation number thats means your ds-269 is in the system , it seems that NVC is playing with you since you re overdue time frame , NOW they found it that and trying to catch up by saying your case is assigned to the supervisor which mat take up to 45 days , or they ll start sending docs to embassies which i doubt since the reason why the NVC was created is to review docs before it gets to the embassy

by the way i have updated my signature to reflect the submission date of my DS-260

Did you receive a confimation email saying your DS260 was submitted to nvc ?

I filled out my DS260 on the same date as you did and was under the impression it was submitted the same day ....but i received a email confirmation from CEAC two days ago saying DS260 was completed on July 6th and it was just submitted to NVC and wait 30 days for them to review.

I think you can reprint the confirmation page online by logging into your account with your case number.I was able to save a copy to my computer when i filled out DS260.

Am new here and I apologize....

I filled out my DS260 on 6 July and i received a email today saying it was completed on 6 July and was submitted to NVC today and wait for 30 days to review. any one know why it took 3 weeks to submit the DS260 to NVC . Why was it not submitted on 6 July?
