My fiance lives in the UK and I live here in the states. We are applying for a K-1 Visa, as he intends to come over here to live. But does that mean we have to get married in the US?
I was thinking about getting married on a cruise ship traveling from my parents (Florida) to his parents (Southamtpon). Everyone would only have to fly one direction (easier for the older generation, which on both sides insists on attending) and forcing allowing the families to get to know each other.
Do I have to marry in US on a K-1 Visa?
