We got ours yesterday.

I feel like switching to the Vancouver consulate would only be worth it if you guys are in a hurry to get the process done and you are possibly closer to Vancouver than Montreal, or don't mind spending the extra cash to fly out to Vancouver. I personally feel like saving the money on the flights to Vancouver and just waiting and checking every day until something opens up would be best. Just means you'll have an extra few hundred dollars in the bank for the move down to the US.

We sent ours the 28th of Sept, NOA1 was issued October 1st (my fiances birthday!) and we received our hard copy the 7th. Just going to have to get used to this waiting game. Even if I get the K-1 by March/April, I won't be moving till basically September. Need all the savings I can get!
