Hey all, received my EAD/AP combo card last night. Took 3 days from "your card has been mailed", I got the tracking number yesterday also, only to check it and see it was already delivered.

Thanks! I actually updated my post. My AOS was approved today also (no interview needed) ! Hope to get the card within the next few weeks!

Just checked my AOS and...

On July 27, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number

and my AP/EAD is now:

On July 27, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number

Is there anyone who filed I485 and 765 ( employment based) and got EAD Approved from TSC?

Receipt Date for 485 and 765: 6th May 2015

Finger Prining: 22nd May 2015

Since then no update online. Should I call and open an inquiry for EAD?

It it helps, my 765 is employment based but I'm at NSC..

I just checked again and the EAD status has changed to:

Case Was Approved

On July 21, 2015, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSC1591105003. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Is this common? What does this mean?

Congratulations on the EAD/AP approval. I applied 4 days after you and my 75 day count is up next Tuesday (the 21st). I was thinking of calling the customer service or submitting an online inquiry, but looks like I just have to be a bit more patient. I have already booked my travel starting Aug 22nd. What do you guys suggest?

Thanks! I was considering calling customer service or something also, but it seems I was just lucky enough to get it approved right before the weekend! I would suggest waiting until next Friday before considering any course of action.

Guess I'll be spending the weekend making plans, I was hoping to travel on August 15th too...

Finally got approved for my AP/EAD combo card! I checked this morning at 8am to see no update, but checked again at lunch and there it was!

Now I can make some late summer vacation plans...

AOS receipt date was 5/7, notice date 5/15.

Fingerprints done on 6/30.

No word of EAD/AP yet, case status still says "we received it" on 5/7. Hoping to get EAD/AP soon, would like to visit Canada before August ends...

Hi folks! New to VJ, and this community seems really awesome!

Have a strange question that I haven't seen discussed recently, so hoping if anyone can help answer!

I'm a single Canadian on a TN visa for the States, recently applied for AOS, and expecting my Advance Parole in 2-3 months. I am also a holder of a NEXUS card with TN status.

My question is, once I receive my AP, how do I go about using my NEXUS card? Do I need to inform NEXUS that I have a AP now? Or do I just cross normally with the card (at airports at least)?
