First of all congratulations to all members as ceac website is back in action and every one can proceed for further process.

I have a quick question which may sound stuoid but still i want to make sure.

In ds-260 form. As I am the petitioner and sponsoring my wife which is beneficiary, there is a column in ds-260 form which ask IS UR SPOUSE IMMIGRATING WITH YOU.!!

As i m her spouse and i m already here in USA, so answer to this column should be no??

do not worry, they are only concern for communicable disease which can be exposed to USA population. Main purpose of chest xray is to make sure you do not have TB. thats it....!! So be relax.

I was just preparing my AOS packet, one thing i was confused about is a tax return form 1040. As with AOS packet we send tax return of recent year, so my question is:

1) Can we send tax return form 1040? and i wanna know just 1st 2 pages of form 1040 are enough to send or we have to send all papers of tax return which include > 15 pages. I believe we can send US Form 1040 1st 2 pages.!!

2) And do we need to write down case number on I-864 form each paper??

3) I did not file tax return in year 2012/2013 as i was unemployed and was having zero income, so do i need to write a letter explaining this reason for not filing a tax in year 2013 & 2013 or its ok not to send them written explanation??

How long it usualy takes to get IV invoice after ds261 reviewing?

Though it looks stupid question but i need to know that do we get any return back confirmation when our ds-261 gets reviewed by nvc??

Actually i called the nvc and requested operator to review my ds-261 and he reviewed it and approved it.!! Now i m just conern thats it or will i get any confirmation from nvc??

I was able to fill ds-261 form and pay AOS fee but my IV fee is not invoiced yet. 1)I wanna know how long does it take for IV fee to be invoiced after ds-261 form?? 2) And about DS-260 for, i wanna know that can petitioner fill ds-260 form on behalf of applicant? 3) Can I send AOS/IV documents to NVC beore paying IV fee as it is not invoiced?

Hello everyone! I was following this post since last 3 weeks, i just want to update you ppl that i was able to fill DS-261 form on 06/02/15 around 6 pm, now waiting to pay AOS FEE. I got letter from nvc on 05/17/15.!!

I hope every one will go through, it seems they are working on website.!!

So finally by keep calling the NVC number i have got my nvc number from operator but i have not received any letter from NVC, I tried to fill ds-261 form but there is an error message which shows my case can not be processed at this time, so what it does mean? And at the same time same message is shown on AOS fee page..!!

Question: Can petitioner fill DS-261 form? or it is necessary to be filled by applicant?

I have one quick question, as i have sponsore my spouse for 1-30 petition, now case is at NVC, i just want to know for AOS DO I NEED TO FILL 864-a for or 864-ez form? And i there is also joit sponsor then which for he has to fill???

Other question, can i get any template of these form? I mean filled sample of these forms??

I appreciate quick response but i am still not clear. Let me explain my situation, i moved to USA in december, 2012 and i did not have job in 2013 so i did not file tax and in 2014 i filed tax, so now i only 1 year tax transcript and my question is WILL IT BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR AOS OR DO I NEED JOINT SPONSORSHIP??

I am new to this forum but i can see it is very useful and answers most of the questions by just thoroughly reading the web page.

I have sponsored my spouse for I-130 petition and it is now at NVC awaiting for NVC number. I have a question regarding AOS, is it necessary to send 3 most recent tax transcript? I have job for last one year and i have tax transcript for only 2014 so can I send only one tax transcript or do i need joint sponsor in this case? And if joint sponsor is needed then he needs to fill I-864A form and I should fill I-864 form, is it correct? And is there anyway i can get I-864 form sample??
