  1. So my wife was approved in juarez, mexico and we have arrived in the USA and are waiting for her resident card to arrive in the mail. So my question is now that my wife is here with me, I want to change my filing status with the IRS from single to married, do I have to prove anything or send them the marriage certificate, or is it automatically updated in the system while the process was going on?

  2. So i had a question about our interview date. Our CR1 interview is on June 29 in Juarez, Mexico. But due to the recent technical glitch that occurred I don't know what to do. Will it affect our interview? We have our medical on 26 and fingerprint on 27.

I have read that "currently unable to print most immigrant and nonimmigrant visas approved after June 8, 2015. In addition, U.S. Embassies/Consulates are currently unable to process new applications submitted on or after June 9, 2015. Nonimmigrant visa applicants with interview appointments scheduled for this week, June 14-20, are asked to reschedule"

I checked the visa status page and it displays "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you already have an interview appointment scheduled," last update was 16-June-2015

So does anyone know any info on this? Should i go as planned?

  3. Hi Everyone,

So I recieved this notification, Just want to confirm that this is my case complete letter everyone talks about right?

"All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified."

I recieved this email on April 7, 2015. When should I expect the next step?
