  1. My husband and I are American Citizans and I own a busness. I want to bring one of my husbands sisters here to work for me. Would this be easy? What would I look under to find the forms.and what is this ...have to hire americans first? not sure the wording. Thanks

  2. why not to give is a shot and try his chance but I can tell u my experience in Consulate in Casablanca,a profession as a Teacher can be kind of positive point to show his intention to return back to Morocco once his visa is over but to have a good property is more helpful but the most important is if he traveled before oversea specially to Europe because is he used a visa before by right way this can be the most important point to help him get a visa easily from Consulate and then see his brother u and enjoy the journey in America.when I was there like 100% of people who applied and have been in Europe before got the visa with no problem; after simple three qsts have u been in oversea of Morocco? why u are traveling to >>> states? for how long u wanna stay there ? thats it ur visa is accepted come in couple days to get it in hand.best of lcuk

Thank you for your positive post

  3. How old is your BIL? Why can’t your husband go back home and visit him there?

If your BIL is single and in the age bracket of 16-35 chances of him getting a tourist visa would be difficult.

Bringing grandmother does not change anything, he has to show his ties that he would not over stay in US and would return back to home.

I want to see him also...He wants to come here. His brother is here and he wants to see America

  4. I want my brother in law to visit me and my husband in the us. He is in Morocco. He is a teacher but does not have property ties all he has is his job teaching...Would he have more of a chance to get here if he brought his elderly mother who has all ties...property. She really does not want to come but my husband would love to see his brother. Do you think a job as a teacher is sufficiant ties to Morocco to have?

  5. come on pple please answer my citizanship question 2 down

This post came 9 minutes after you posted your original request. People are not on here 24/7 to provide help. We do it when we long on when we can.

    Don't be a spaz.

See my answer to your question in the original thread.

I was in a hurry. Im a instant gradification kind of girl :innocent:

  6. My husband got his green card 2 years after he was here. When can he file for citizanship? He has been here 3 years.oes he have to wait another 2 years before applying?

We were married right away when he came. It just took 2 years to get the green card

On his green card there is a "date since", or something similar. This is considered the date he officially became a Permanent resident. He is eligible to apply for citizenship 90 days before the third year anniversary of this date. HTH

Thats so unfair because some people get the green cards so soon and after 3 years they are here for good just b/c we had to wait 2 years now we are paying another penality. This sucks

  7. My husband has his green card we have been married 3 years in U.S. K-1 visa. We want to bring his family here. Question one...Can he file to bring his mother here , just file because of the years it takes to get approved. If he filed now by the time she got approved he will be a citizan. Second question... Should we start bringing her here for visits first to establish that she comes and leaves when she should? One more ...She cannot travel alone she is elderly, would it be harder to have her and my husbands brother escort her here for a visit? Thanks

  8. This forum is for people who have met the one they love and are trying desparately to be together. so they can be married.

It is not to tell you ways of getting a green card, if you are looking for a girl to marry you to acheive your goals, it is visa fraud and no one here will help you to acheive the K1 route

So what everyone here is saying is all who have met their spouses on the internet and are in different countries, you think your spouse insnt looking to get out of their country??? Are you serious? Why is everyone dogging this guy when 80% of the people who met their "partners" on line in another country, just want a green card also. If not then why not find someone in your own country.

  9. i HAVE BEEN MARRIED 3 YEARS ALSO AND MY HUSBAND JUST GOT HIS GREEN CARD NOW TODAY YE HA. aNYWAY THE CO SPONSER WILL BE OBLIGED TILL HE GETS HIS CITIZANSHIP. YOU WILL BE THE MAIN SPONSER SO ANY PROBLEMS THEY WILL COME TO U FIRST. REALLY ITS NOT A BIG DEAL TO BE A SPONSER. I GOT MY EX HUSBAND TO SPONSER HEHE. AS FAR AS TRYING TO GET AROUND ANYTHING WITH IMMIGRATION FORGET IT!!!!! JUST GET A CO SPONSER AND DONT WASTE TIME TRYING TO ARGUE WITH THEM IT IS WHAT IT IS. i ADE 70 THOUSAND LAST YEAR BEING A FOSTER MOTHER FOR MENTALLY RETATRDED ADULTS AND BECAUSE IT IS TAX FREE INCOME( THE GOVERNMENT DOESNT TAX ITSELF) THEY DIDNT CONSIDER ONE PENNY AND I SPENT 2 YEARS TRYING TO CONVINCE THEM WHAT I MAKE AND IT DIDNT MATTER. jUST FIND A CO SPONSER ANYONE WHO MEETS THE POVERTY GUIDELINES. IF YOUR HUSBAND WORKS HE CAN USE HIS INCOME FROM LAST YEAR ALONG WITH YOURS.GOOD LUCK BUT LIKE I SAID DONT ARGUE WITH THEM IF IT COMES DOWN TO ONE DAY SHORT OF A YEAR THEY DONT CARE. TRUST ME. DONT WASTE TIME JUST FIND A SPONSER.

  10. WELL HAD SOME PROBLEMS FINDING A SPONSER FOR MY HUSBAND BECAUSE THEY DIDNT ACCEPT MY INCOME AS A FOSTER MOTHER BUT ASKED MY EX TO DO IT HE DID AND N0W TODAY GREEN CARD ARRIVES WOOO HOOO THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP EVERYONE WHO GAVE ME ADVICE. i THINK THE IMMIGRATION PEOPLE WERE PROBABLY SAYING PLEASE JUST GET SOMEONE TO DO THIS FOR U TAMMY AND WE WILL APPROVE RIGHT AWAY. i SENT SO MANY LETTERS EXPLAINING HOW MUCH I MAKE BUT BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF MONEY(FOSTER CARE MONEY) THEY COULDNT ACCEPT. sOON AS i SENT IN THE SPONSER MONEY AND BARELY MADE IT MIND U THEY APPROVED IT RIGHT AWAY AFTER ALMOST 3 YEARS.

  11. caregiver4ever - Maybe I missed it, but does your husband have taxable income?

 Another tidbit that could be gleaned from reading the forms. Caregiver - I realize you are frustrated - but do yourself a favor. Read the I-864.

I did. I dont get what u want me to see?

If your saying his income can be used it cant because he didnt make enough last year. He was mostly in school. Like I said I made over 70 thousand and I thought gee that should be enough. It worked to get him here and it was to my knowledge Americans at the american embassy who did the interview. Who looked at the evidence. I even had immigration show up at my house at 6 am one morning asking questions. Of course I said I know youir here to see if my husband is really here ya know the early bird catches the lier. They said yes. I said no problem we have nothing to hide. He said everything should be fine and would probably be getting the green card soon. I said haha I thought u were delivering it thats why you were here. Another time when he first came we got a call to go to boston the very next morning....no problem. We went interviewed us seperately and said we had 3 people so far come here for an interview this week and all 3 were sent back to their countries but congratulations on your marriage. hello what more do they want??? blood? oh ya they got that too also fingerprints 2 times. Should I send them a dunkim donuts coffee with the i-864? Any way my kids father is gonna do it InshAllah. I dont count for anything till it happens. Who would have thunk it. My family doesnt do it but the lousy ex does. I asked him if he wanted to redeem himself for all the money I spent on him to get his life back together. He said sure why not not a big deal? go figure.

  12. Your husband will have an order of deportation once you get denied for not being able to prove that you or a co-sponsor could support him financially.

So what your saying is even if we are married for 2 1/2 years they can still deport him? I thought there was a certain amount of time they cant. Like some kind of cut off. To me when I sent all my info before he came to this country with all the evidence shouldnt they have denied it then? Why wait till now? I said that to immigration. I said Why was it ok for the evidence and all my letters from employment and bank statements and deeds to my house why was he allowed to come into this country then but now its not? I dont see how they can deport him after almost 3 years of being here and 2/1/2 years of marriage. Thats insane to me.
