I am trying to figure out a general time frame in order to get some idea when everything will be complete:
I filed for a K1 visa and it was received on Jan 9 2015 at the texas service center. My Fiance is Canadian and will be dealing with the embasy in Vancouver. Looking at the processing time line, it appears that the application SHOULD be processed in June or July. It will take approximently 1-2 months for everything to get to Vancouver where they will then schedule and interview that can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months in the future.
After that, he will be issued the visa to come to the U.S.
So I guess my questions are this:
1. Does anyone know how far in advance the Vancouver Embassy is scheduling inverview?
2. How long is the Visa valid for before my Fiance HAS to enter the US?
If anything I said isn't correct, let me know.
Looking for some kind of idea so I can figure out when we will be getting married so I can make plans.
