My mom will travel to states soon, but she doesn't speak English at all. I was just wondering how she gonna explain border control where she is going and etc. Do I need to provide her some written letter with all info?

She refused to have an attorney,because she didn't know its going to be such a big deal. The question is do they get judged as americans citizens or there is a different low for the tourists.

They just want to be prepared for the court. Police by the law had to take them to the jail.

I was thinking the same, they must be sending home and not allowed to come back, but curious what else could possible happen?!

They took them to the jail to separate them and they already released them. But I guess the police took it very seriously. They both have some scratches but that's it.

I was just wondering what possible could happen to them since they are tourist not USA residents!?

I would really appreciate a help if someone know what to do in this case.

My friend was traveling to the conference in North Carolina with her boyfriend and they got on the fight and she called a police. After they both got to the jail for one day and tomorrow will be a court. They both are on the tourist visa. Does anyone know what could possible happen to them? There as no big fight, she was just scared. But now she is afraid of the court.

Did anyone had to deal with police and court on the tourist visa?

Just wondering what is next step, do I need to fill out more forms since I am here? They said I will receive green card - 3-6 month.. but anything else needed?

Also , any documents if I wanna travel outside USA? I have to fill some forms for that too?

My only concern is about financial evidence, on the list from the code meaning it says: Y- NVC has sent to Consul, so it means I dont need to bring those docs ?

My question is, how do I understand if embassy needs a affidavit documents for interview, on instruction letter there are codes , shall i just follow the codes?

In general in the beginning it says to bring updated form, but when constructions for me below, it seems not.. I am confused

But waiting only for my embassy people, I mean only from my country, not for just standing in a Q of all people who waiting for interview in the whole world!??!

How can I find out if they need updated I-864 form? As we send original I-864 to NVC and the rest were copies of documents so I dont have it here in Latvia, plus my husband was sending docs from USA, so its confusing a bit, they already have those documents

1) Is there any ways how I can figure out when my interview will possibly happen? Some specific timing or any other way after I receive the letter that case is completed?

2) on Interview I have to bring

Hi- it will be CR1 visa

And they told me that my case is not ready even I have Case number and ID number and I have to wait- weird- I am Already waiting for long:( up to 28 days........

So mine Case number and ID number was ready 16 of November and it was an option to complete DS-161- so now this online is completed since 16 of November but I still cant pay the bill, I also noticed from others that when 261 is ready to complete the issue bill straight away- but mine is still not ready - almost 2 weeks after I completed, so may be I dont get something ? i tried to call them- but they said - they cant help me, and now will be holidays- and I guess it will take forever:(

I have a question about AOS Bill. So on 16 of November our case was assigned and I have completed 261 form. Now I am waiting to pay AOS bill, but it is still not available. ( cant select payment), how long it takes for them to assign me a bill?

Also, do you suggest to submit all documents to NVC electrically or my mail ?

I have the same issue, however when you press to pay now-it should be possible to press and pay, but mine box still not possible to press button "select", so as i know it could take up to 15 days to receive an invoice from them to pay, however, VisaJourney members suggests:

*Tip: if after a week of submitting the DS-261 and the IV fee hasn't been unlocked yet, you can try calling NVC and requesting they review the DS-261 over the phone. If the operator refuses to do so, try again until you get a nice operator that is willing to do so.

Hopefully our cases will be ready soon!
