  1. Hi VJ members, I went for my aos interview last month and I was given a rfe at the end of the interview. The Interviewing officer told us that everything was fine and she will approve the case after the rfe submission.

The rfe was about a copy of my wife's previous divorce decree which has been sent to the Uscis office where we were interviewed about a week ago. My question is have anybody had this experience before, and how long does it take for uscis to approve the case after receiving the rfe. Your responses will be appreciated and Thank you in advance.

  2. Hi pilotkausa,

Interview went fin,e we have to sendcopy of the final divorce papers of my wife from her previous marriage and then they can send us the green card.Regarding your son, they will not ask him any hard question.Make sure you go with his school registration form which shows you and your husband as parents and I believe if you have the custody papers you can take it with you just in case they ask for it. The main interview is going to be between you and your husband and not the child. Dont worry everything will be fine.Good luck.
