I should add that the children are not currently immigrating with my wife. Is it still needed? And if so how should my wife go about getting this? The info on this is very vague on the website.
Thank you

I was going over all the documents needed my wife's interview at the Thai Embassy in Bangkok. it says a marital status certificate is needed if there is a child born out of wedlock. My wife has two children but they're not mine. They are from a relationship with a previous man that she was not married to. The children were Born out of wedlock but not with me her current husband. Do I need the certificate or does it only to apply if the children were from me and my wife?
Thank you
Quote from the preparation doc
MARITAL STATUS CERTIFICATE: Required if you have a child born out of wedlock, without a registered the marriage. This letter must be issued by a legal authority (Amphur or Court).

Does this apply as well?
OFFICIAL GRANT OF PERMANENT CUSTODY FOR MINOR CHILDREN
Sorry for the multiple questions however I was a bit blind sided by this requirement since they are not immigrating and are not part of my wife's petition.
The father of the children is deceased however they were never married.
