We have a March 19 NOA1 and are also still waiting. We also received the same treatment when we submitted an inquiry last week - we were told that USCIS is processing January 19th applications and that we are still within normal processing times.

Good luck to you too!

Hi,
Based on what I have read from other members, and based on the language that the U.S. Embassy in Caracas uses, you are not required to apostille the police certificate. The only caveat is that you must retrieve the police certificate from the ministerio in Caracas.
My fiancee retrieved hers two weeks ago. She arrived when they opened and was in and out of there within 15 minutes. Although, it was still an all day affair as she had to travel from Maracay.
Here is what the embassy says:
- Police Certificate: An applicant must present a police certificate, if obtainable, from his or her country of current residence and country of nationality, if residence in such country exceeds six months. Police certificates are required from countries of previous residence, if residence there was for more than one year. Please note that for Venezueala, we only accept police certificates that are issued by theMinisterio del Poder Popular de Relaciones Interiores, Justicia y Paz. We cannot accept police certificates or certificates of good conduct from any state or municipality. Please consult the Department Of State webpage for any questions regarding obtaining a police certificate.
Peace

We don't post very often, but we also wish to extend congratulations to all who have been approved!
Sadly, we are on day 260 and still waiting for any kind of sign - an RFE, rejection, NOA2 - something to suggest that USCIS has even peeked at our application in the last 8 1/2 months.
