Nancy, that's actually not true. The field office that takes care of my case is the one in Denver,CO. As the official site shows, they only processed the cases that were received last June as of this February. I also looked up the cases that are processed through Denver office on Visajourney. The cases that were received last August are just scheduled for interviews. I got RFE twice. I don't expect getting the interview notice until the end of the year.

Thank you so much. One more question. Is there a limit period of time for me to travel abroad? I'm planning on staying for 2 months. Not sure if that's too long.

I'm planning on traveling back to my country next month but I'm not sure if that's okay.
I entered the US on June 4th last year on a B1/B2 visa and was allowed to legally stay till December 3rd.
I married a US citizen and filed AOS.
The USCIS received my application on December 23rd and I received NOA in mail on January 7th this year.
My out-of-status period is less than 180 days and I have got my combo card(AP).
Am I going to have any problem trying to re-enter the US?
I know about the 3/10 years ban but I'm not qualified to either of them.
What first? Drivers License or SSN

I went down to social security office in Denver as soon as I got my EAD card. They only asked me for my EAD card and passport. Not sure why the officer didn't ask to see marriage license. I'm still waiting for my card to arrive in mail. Next step is getting my driver license!
