  1. My wifes interview was on March 14, 2017. It went well, but they gave us a pink slip because I could not find my original marrieage certificate. Told us to come back in a week and turn it in. The thing is, it is a week later and my original is being sent from the US and has not arrived can I reschedule that oppointment? Or use this new one the cheif of the village made us?

  2. Hi,

My wife finally gets her interview on March 14, 2017 in Cambodia. I plan on going with her to her interview is that a good thing or a bad thing to do? Any advice would help me thanks. Also, at the time of the application I was working and now since I been in an accident I have not been working so I am currently unemployed but, I do have a co sponsor that is helping me with the situation. My question is do I bring my I-864 form with my co sponsor I-864 form to the interview with them(do not have the original signed forms because NVC has them)?  Another thing is my wife needs to get her medical exam done but they did not schedule one for her so, I think we have to schedule one for her right away or will they send an email telling her where to go? if, we have to schedule one what type of documents do my wife have to take with her? Thank You!

  3. Hi there, I have received my case number after a few months of contacting NVC and apparently that is the only thing I have gotten a case number. "In addition a packet containing the Affidavit of Support Processing Fee Bill Invoice was sent to the petitioner or attorney of record for this case. The fee must be received before the petition can be processed further." However I did not receive any letter as of yet and still no invoice number so that I can go pay my fees online. Please advise or if anyone is in the same boat as me let me know. Thank You!

  4. Yes, I understand that part but my question is do I have to set up an appointment before hand to fill out the document of "eligibility of marriage" or can I just walk in to the embassy and ask for one? I went through the ask for an appointment page but, it does not state anything about making an appointment for "eligibility of marriage."

  5. Hi,

I am from the US going to Cambodia on the 6th of May and will be getting married on the 22nd and 23rd of May. What I am trying to find out is do I have to make an appointment with the US Embassy in Cambodia before I get there or I can just go there when I arrive and ask for an eligibility of marriage form to fill out since I am already a US Citizen. I already have my background check and my single status paper from my county in hand ready to go. If anyone can help me out please advise. Thank you!
