In 2002 (13 years ago) I was 21 years of age an a stupid kid. I got in a fight with a girlfriend at the time and hit a wall (not the girl, never!). Her mother called the police and I got convicted of a domestic violence misdemeanor. I did everything the courts required of me and my case was closed.
I'm currently engaged to my fiance and about to submit our k-1 paper work to the USCIS to bring her to the US. Our question is whether or not our k-1 might be denied because of my domestic violence misdemeanor 13 years ago? I am of course listing this on the i-129f and including as much paper work as I can to show the case was closed ( the courts have destroyed most of the paper work after 10+ years).
Can anyone please provide us guidance. I'd hate for my stupid mistake as a kid to affect the love of my life moving to the US with me.
