Interview Appointment for Aug. 13th!
-
CC June 17, according to the call center. Status still hasn't changed on the site.
-
My case has been completed long time ago as well and they had plenty of time to forward it to the Embassy. Yet it's been close to 2 months now and the case is still at the NVC even though our priority date is current and has been current for 2 months now.
What kind of visa are you applying for? Mine is an EB1-A which is supposed to be of the highest priority, maybe that makes a difference?

Welcome to the long waiting game
I called on the 17th and the agent said that my case was complete. To wait for the email to schedule my appointment. My visa is an EB1-A, which is supposed to be of the highest priority, anyone know if this has made a difference in their case?

Hello!
No. I do not speak Spanish at all. However, I was trying hard to figure out this Apostille. I think the Apostille my mom has right now is the Apostille of The Hague. So I guess what I need to do now is to translate the Spanish page to English. And I'm thinking to do translation in the US. Do you think that would be a problem? I mean the document was issued in Spain, can it be translated here, in the US, or has to be done at where it was issued?
You can translate the document anywhere so long its accompanied by a letter stating that whoever translated this did so to express exactly what it's on the original document, and their name, address and such.

The portion where it used to say paid under aos may have an n/a. Mine did and I got approved yesterday. Total 3 n/a's
I called on the 17th and also they said it was completed yet my app on the CEAC also shows n/a for my civil docs. So I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I just called the NVC and the operator confirmed that my case has been completed! He told me that I would receive the email with the appointment date soon since there's not waiting for my type or country.

Hello everyone,
I sent my documents to the NVC, I was only asked for Civil documents, and exempt from AOS, and I was wondering what's the response time to at least confirm reception of documents. It's been close to 4 weeks already without a word. I've emailed them tonight, asking for this but I've emailed before for another issue and they never got back to me.
What says you with all of your wisdom?

Same here. My docs were received on May 15th, which I know because of the courrier but not because they let me know of anything. I'm about to email and see what's going on.
Still no interview!!!
