Why can't she apply for a visa or something, or maybe a green card?

I really like this girl I am seeing but she has been here for the past 1.5 years illegally. She works, has no criminal record, and is 20 years old. I am not looking to get married or anything because I have not been seeing her that long, but we have talked about it and I am just looking to see what her options are. She is worried that I will leave her because she doesn't want me to think she's using me for a visa or something. I don't want her and her family to get deported. What are her options?
