I will be receiving my Green Card in 2 weeks after being accepted on April 18th
At the end of the interview I asked the officer if it would be possible to return to Canada and work for lets say 5 to 6 months. ( I know I can't be out of the country for more than 6 months until I am a citizen ) She said quote " I would say no " I am still not clear on why, other than that my wife ( American ) and I have not been married more than 2 years. I can travel outside the country for a few weeks etc.
Any thoughts
