It really was quick. Thank you & good luck to you (:

Agree to disagree, then.
Indeed :-)

Right now, EADs are taking 75-80 days, just look at the data from the past few months. I don't think anyone who is within or over that timeframe is being impatient. Yes, they can take up to 90 days and sometimes over, but that is not the norm right now.
It doesn't matter how long they are taking right now. Everyone's case is different so some might be approved earlier than 90 days. My point is that there's no reason to complain unless you're past day 90. If someone needs to expedite then they can proceed with that instead of complaining.

It's just an observation made by different ppl on other forums I'm on. If you submit enough evidence, you don't have to worry about an rfe. Sometimes you might even get approved without an interview.I'm curious where it says that the more proof you submit, the quicker it will be. Are you talking about expedites or just the regular EAD application?
And congratulations! You're having a boy, how exciting!
& thank you, it is very exciting! :-)

Ok I'm gonna schedule an infopass. As of next Monday it will be 77 days so I'm gonna also submit a service request. I'm not sure about the short-term disability. We gonna check it out
Yeah that might help. Depending on the type of job she does, they should be able to offer the std. Good luck !

Oh ok cool. And congrats!!!! We having a girl
Congrats to you too. We're having a boy lol. I'm also due in 3 weeks. Have you tried to schedule an info pass? That might help in your situation, also can your wife get short term disability?
-
It's not I'm being impatient. It's just that my wife is pregnant (due next Saturday) and has been off work. She was the one paying all the bills. She won't go back to work till in September
I understand your situation i'm pregnant as well. My comment is general and towards most peoplel who have been commenting.

Congrats!
Thank you :-) I hope you're next!

I think some of you guys are being a little impatient. Eads usually take an average of 90 days. Also the more proof you submit the quicker it is. Try to spend time looking and applying for jobs do that when you get your Ead you can start working. When I got my ead two years ago it took a little over 90 days so try to relax and stay positive (:

Awesomeness. CONGRATS!!!
Thank you, hope you're next ! :-)

Hello everyone I just left my interview and I was approved. They didn't ask too many questions, I did provide a lot of proof. I wish you all the best of luck! God Bless
-
Right on, that's awesome. Although you are not adjusting from a K-1, the turn around is quite fast.
Congrats!!!
Thank you. I'm surprised at how fast the process is. I thought you get ead approval first then an interview. But I'm not complaining lol. Hopefully everyone else hears something soon.

That's great! Are you also adjusting from K1?
No I am not. I'm a visa Overstay.

Congrats, so lucky u
Thank you, mine might be quick because my ead expires end of August.

Hi everyone, I did not get my ead approval yet. I did get an Interview date for July 2nd (:
-
I went for my biometrics on May 12th and yesterday I received a letter in the mail dated May 14th. I didn't submit my medical exam with application so the letter was telling me that if I have to go to an interview to bring the medical exam. I'm hoping to get my EAD soon since they would just be renewing my current one. Also an interview date or RFE ifI don't need an interview.
-
If you do an earlier biometrics, does it mean they will process your EAD sooner than expected? I am still second guessing if i will do an early biometrics or just do as scheduled. I really want to work already and help my husband.
I'm not sure, but I hope so. I went early because I start a class on Monday so I wouldn't be able to make my original appointment
-
i had my biometric done today too, it was easy they just took my finger print and one photo, thats all, they told me to wait for my EAD now, hope it wont take long time
Good luck, it shouldn't be long until you get your ead. When I got my ead in 2013 it didn't take long after biometrics.
-
Congrats!!! When exactly does the office open? I want try the walk in Biometrics but someone told me to go in the morning like 7:30am so I can be the first to be attended to.. is it too early?
I think the office opens at 8a.m, but I wouldn't recommend going early in the morning because more people are there. go mid afternoon after lunch at 12.
-
Hello everyone. Today I went and successfully did walk in biometrics at the Philadelphia ASC. No questions asked and they didn't even check the date on my appointment notice. I got there around 1p.m. and there weren't that many people.
-
Sent my AOS application today so let the waiting begin. Good luck to everyone
