Not too long actually, about a month or so i would say. But strangely enough we got the green card but never the SSN we ended up having to go to the Social Security Office and applying for one.

Congrats to everyone on approvals and good luck to everyone who will have theres soon. I wanted to ask you guys a question, my wife and I are now here in the states, she's already gotten her greencard and her SSN just a week ago i got a text from USCIS that a decision had been made on the I-129f that my lawyer submitted. The intention by him before was to file a K3, my I-130 was approved but way back then they sent me a NOID on the I-129f, i told my lawyer about it and i had thought he would send in a letter to get it withdrawn but it seems the I-129f is still denied. Im not sure if this will impact us in any way later on in the future when we do ROC or if i should be worried about anything, but i would like to know what you guys think. Any input will be appreciated!

Hey guys, my wife had her interview on the 4th, the interview went well and she was in the room for no more than 5-6 minutes as I waited outside. The co told us our only issue was with our marriage certificate. The buku nikah they issue for Muslim weddings are in both English and Indonesian but the information wasn't in English (duhhh) the good thing was the co said we could just get it translated and send it out to them by email by the next day Thursday. I'm happy to say after looking at the ceac website our visa status has went from AP to Issued and now are just waiting to pick up my wife's passport from the rpx drop off location. It was a tense last few days but I'm glad that everything went well and my wife and I can go back to Seattle together next week and we just enjoy the rest of our vacation here thanks to all the vjers its been a long time coming for myself and my wife, hoping everyone gets their approvals soon and will be able to spend the holidays with their loved ones!

Hi Guys, just got off the phone with NVC and they have scheduled our interview for November 4th!!! I still havent gotten the email regarding our interview and the guy at NVC was surprised we didnt get an email yet so he said to wait til wednesday next week and if we still dont get it to call back. One question i had - they asked for my 2014 W2, does anyone know if it is OK to bring one i can get from my work's online payroll portal or maybe ask my employer for 2014 W2 or does it have to be the one they gave me specifically when i filed my taxes? If so i need to look for it again...

Today i actually just got an email stating CC or as close to CC as you can get i think...

Hey guys just got off the phone with NVC and they confirmed a CC on friday October 2nd with a scan date of September 14th, I did get a checklist though for my 2014 W2 so will be giving that to my wife for her Interview when i go back there.

Hey guys, an update, I was on my way to the airport going back to Seattle after visiting my wife in jakarta, it was already pretty late on the U.S. east coast so I thought to give a try and see if ceac updated or not. Amazingly the 3rd N/A showed up!! We were really hoping for some good news before I left so it was great to see that. Will be calling nvc on Monday to confirm a CC.

My husband just called NVC and I finally got scheduled for interview in Jakarta on Oct 27.

Wow congrats! Selamat yeah! Unfortunately our case has been stalled for the past 3 weeks almost as it seems the packet my attorney sent to NVC never made it so they have overnighted a new one to NVC and will get to them by tomorrow so we've lost atleast 16 days because of all this...

I got an RFE for i129f after my i130 was approved and sent to NVC, and I made sure I responded to the i129f RFE and then it was also approved. You have an option to write a signed letter to the service center asking to close or cancel the i129f case if you do not wish to proceed with it. That case would not be related to what is going on with your immigrant case at NVC.

When did the postal service deliver your AOS/IV package ?

Yeah i think my lawyer will be writing up a letter tomorrow to request them to close the i129F, i gave him a copy of the i130 approval for him to send with it. My lawyer said that he sent it in on the 25th, i just got off the phone with NVC and they confirmed they havent received it yet/ haven't added it to the case yet. They told me to wait a few more days.

The notice of intent to deny basically said it is requesting for us to send in a bunch of additional documents (original marriage cert, Evidence of Citizenship etc.) giving me 30 days to send them the documents, otherwise they will deny the I129f which my lawyer says shouldnt matter anymore since my I130 is already approved but I am still not exactly sure if that is right. the AOS/IV package is the one they havent received yet, atleast i havent gotten an email for it yet and have not tried calling NVC today. And Yes really hoping it doesnt effect anything else going forward...

Hi guys, i received a Notice of Intent to Deny mail today regarding my i129f, our i130 has been approved since July 28th and is currently at NVC waiting for our IV/AOS packet to arrive, I assumed the i129f was going to get administratively closed so i was very surprised when i got this in the mail. I have an attorney who I will be talking with on tuesday but wanted to know what you guys think.

Hey guys so a bit of an update, my lawyer sent out the packet last tuesday to NVC i called NVC a few days ago and they said they still havent gotten our packet. You guys think they are just slow to get to our mail and put it in the system or it hasnt gotten to NVC yet? Was hoping they would have gotten it atleast by now so i wouldnt have to worry about it over the long weekend.

Hmm yeah i am not exactly sure, but for a while i was having issues loging into the system even though i had my case number and invoice number since wednesday. I did call NVC about it on wednesday to let them know i had problems loging in. Yes that would be very cool! haha. The Jakarta Embassy is not as congested as alot of others from what i've seen anytime i have to go there so we may all get bunched up at the same date!

Paid AOS and IV fee this morning waiting for those to get processed so i can continue with next steps!

I went and called NVC again to ask them about the error that i am getting, the lady said it is a website issue so she put in a request for the technician to look at the problem which the technician wont be seeing until tomorrow morning, she also told me to just check back in a few days and to just keep trying everyday to see if you can login. Hope this helps anyone who is seeing the same issue.

BAD news .. I'm getting this error "The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records"

im sure about having the right numbers because i doble check them when i was on the phone with NVC operator.

any sugestions ? may be is because is to soon to make payments?

I got my case number today as well and i am getting the same error, maybe try back in an hour as they may just be updating their system

Called NVC yesterday and found out they received our petition on the 12th of August, TSC sent it out on the 5th, how long do you guys predict it should take before a case number is assigned?

Didn't the i129f need to be filed with the physical noa1 of the i130 though? Anyways, did you call them at all to find out the status of i129f? Is it going to be administratively closed?

Im not exactly sure as i have a lawyer filling out everything for me. Basically when i got the NOA1s with the same February 17th PD for the i130 and i129f they had sequential receipt numbers with the i129f given a number before the i130 so not exactly sure what that means. As for the Administratively closed I will probably go ahead and check on that some time this week.

Yup i sent them out at the same time, the i129f actually got a receipt number prior to the i130
