    my case was approved April ,2015 And all documents and visa fees other civil documents sending on june and 30 days after mail from Nvc my birthday certificate national languch is missing ...sending to nvc and recive to this certificate NVC 27,july ,2015.... so other 30 days wait time only one paper missing in .. I m very sad ? so is complete wait time is 65 days and no case complete yet.. ?.. Today my husband calling to Nvc and said her all documents is complete and no sending to supervisor maybe 1 week later review ....waiting.... Waiting ? PD march 23,2014

    Yeah call NVC...no choice.

    @chereyes.. Yeah so did I...none the less, it should be ok. The NVC sent the originals to the embassy (code Y), so they should already have it. I sent NVC the originals and I didn't keep any copy. :rofl:

    So now, I re-printed all my 864's and got them signed again which makes them like "originals" and photocopied those. So now I have "originals" and photocopies. I wont show the originals in hand, unless they ask for it.

    I am worried about my checklist that I got for 864A. I don't know which copy they have. The 1st one or the one after the checklist.. I'll take both and see what they have or want.

    Either way, I got all the "originals" signed again and photocopies. I hope they have no objections.

    In your case, take the photocopies. The interview letter clearly says the NVC sent the originals to the embassy (code Y).

    Also, there are additional embassy specific instructions. Check out your embassy's link. Maybe they might need other stuff. So prepare in advance.

    Montreal K1 interview - issued 221g - need original birth certificate

    Hello all,

    Wondering if anyone can share their experiences with Montreal consulate and K1 process...

    Attended K1 interview yesterday but they said I need to give them the original birth certificate from my home country (Philippines). I did have a document which they deemed not original. Regardless, we are on the process of obtaining one and will be awhile until we receive it. Everything else went fine, though. No other issues with my documents or any questions they asked.

    Once I send off the document they need via Loomis (their suggestion):

    How long will it take for them to receive and process it at Montreal?

    Do I send my original passport with it, so they can put the K1 visa in my passport?

    I'm trying to calculate when i will be able to enter the US with the K1 visa. Thanks for your input!

    I got an IV interview coming up September 22nd, and im missing my original birth certificate also!!!

    hello, my wife sent all nvc document and we would like to know if she can wait the approval of the case and subsequent appointment outside the US
    would have trouble with this in our case
    my pd is 18 feb 2014

    I dont see any reason for trouble being outside the US.

    Most of the process is online, since you've already sent the documents

    If you're asking about having the interview outside the US, I have no idea

    Is the system still down?

    My PD is Feb 19/14

    Received Welcome letter back in April 6th.

    Paid AOS, completed DS-261, early April

    Sent AOS and IV package (together, 1 package) mid May

    Received checklist last week June 19th

    IV fee still says 0$, called NVC. Apparently because I selected the petitioner as agent, it caused some delay :s. so now they sent IV invoice by mail(around June 15th), and im paying by mail

    Hopefully it works out

    but still no access to DS-260, probably once they get their $$, i'll have access

    Guys,

    Today i got my IV bill invoiced and also now am planning to send my AOS and civil documents after filling DS-260.

    What do you guys suggest?

    Also should i send docs ( AOS package &IV package) separetly or i can send everything in 1 package? Please advice.

    Hey, how much is the IV fee?

    I plan on sending both, AOS and IV in 1 package. Thats what I understand from: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents.html

    "After you collect your Affidavit of Support form(s) and financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of your forms, financial evidence, and photocopies of your original civil documents inONE package to the NVC"

    Hey, I received WL April 6 with PD of Feb 2014. DS261 complete and paid AOS fee, but IV fee still shows $0.

    So I assume I have to submit AOS package, which is being prepared. But do I also send IV package with it? even if IV fee is not paid (still shows $0). Or I just wait?

    Anybody have ideas?
