I heard that if you file the I-129F (in conjunction with the I-130) it would reduce the wait time. I'm a US citizen. Filed both in January. Its mid April and I still haven't heard anything back from USCIS. I was told it could be 8 months to a year with just the I-130.. But the I-129 should reduce that to 4-6 months. I know its early, but I just want to know where my papers are. I did receive notice of action receipts (form 797) for both filed papers but what's the hold up?
