good morning vj dear member

after a long wait i had my interview for my "cr1" visa on 17th december 2015 in tunisia well everything went good with the CO until he gave me a white paper asking for more prouves of going on with contact in 2015 like facebook texts skype etc etc. i submitted those documents hand to hand in 21th december and i was putted under Administrative processing. the ceac had been updated on 31th december to be ready ( ready for interview ) and the 1st of january i checked again it still say ready ( ready for interview ) but the update day was changed to the 1st !!! ain't no change with the creation date wich is 2nd july 2015

17th december 2015 : Administrative processing

31th december 2015 : ready ( ready for interview )

1st january 2016 : still ready but update date changed

i'm so confused guys they kept my passport and all my original documents they never told me if i'm approuved or denied they just told that they will call me and that's all . anyone knows what this means, as i read it sounds a good sign but i never saw that ready ( reoppening case )

i woul'd like if someone can give me an idea how good is my situation or bad either i feel so lost

I feel your pain, my husband and I have been stuck at NVC for eight months, four of those months have been stuck at supervisor review. NVC is the toughest part to be stuck at because you can't make an appointment and actually go see someone, like you can at USCIS or the embassy, and that is really really frustrating.

If they gave you a checklist, this will be sent to the email you choice when you did your choice of agent (DS-261). Did you confirm with NVC that they have your correct email address? Or do you mean that you did eventually receive the email and your response to that checklist was received by NVC on October 1st? NVC's timeframe for reviewing documents is 30 days, so if they received your new documents on October 1st, I'm afraid you'll need to wait till October 30th before you're past the due date.

When it comes to calling them, try straight away when they open at 7 am or late at night, it's usually easier then. And if you don't get through, just keep calling calling calling.

awwwwww i hope yr case get solved soon ! :'( yaeh i received an email saying that they did receive the cheklist but never an email saying that i need to send em specific documents i had been notified about the cheklist when i called to ask for updates ..................i called and asked for updates about mine and they need i just need to send em my wife's IRS and since she don't have it coz of the payment way she had the operator asked me that i need to send em a letter to expllain why she don't have it ! :/ well my case is not under review yet even after 23 days from the day they had received the cheklist they asked me for i sent em this letter yesterday i hope they don't review my case before they receive it or even the letter will take another 30 days to be reviewed ?

Well after a stressing calls to the nvc I had been informed that they need a checklist but never by email they inform me on the phone ... It sounds weird that they never contacted me about it .. Anyways I sent em already what they need and I received an email concerning the paper I sent .. They did received it at 1st October now ain't nothing heard from em its been 21 days and nothing changed I been at the nvc level for 4 months already this is so stressful they never answer my calls I dnt know if they are reviewing em or nuh !! Any ideas please I feel lost

I'm wondering about the checklist they asked me for I didn't got any email asking for checklist or missing documents.my wife which is the petitioner was calling the nvc asking for updates so they told her that they need the beneficiarys police record and her tax return of last year while she already submit the taxes return. We sent em what they needs.is this a false checklist !? It been more than a month since we submitted the civil documents and the affidavit of support and we didn't hear from em until the call last monday when we got informed about the checklist !? I also wondering how I will bring the affidavit form to the embassy at my interview when my wife sent it to the nvc ? This really confusing any advice please

Hello can anybody explain to me ! I called the nvc to ask for updates about my case.I'm supposed to be waiting for it to be a case completed and get forwarded to the us embassy but they told me that my case is closed !!!

Good morning.I feel like I'm stuck in the nvc.I submit my documents to nvc more than a month ago now ain't no update or news about it.like we all know calling em is so suffocating the putted me on hold for 3 hours before they hang up !! Even online it said ( at nvc) except that everything I try to check it says the case number and the ID number don't match I dnt get it is this normal guys !! Or I'm the only passing by this !!

Good morning vj members . after a stressful long days of waiting on the USCIS level.me and my wife got arrived to the point we need to deal with the nvc after paying all fees and submitting the forms needed we submitted the financial and supporting documents then we submitted the civil documents almost a month ago.we more than sure we need to receive a checklist since my wife didn't submit my ( as the beneficiary) photographs and police record well the lowyer who prepared the package didn't ask her for those documents.how long the nvc will take to ask for the checklist ? As I know they need to email us nope ? If you guys think aint no checklist for our case how long nvc will take so it send our case to the US embassy in tunisia .Distance ain't easy at all since it hard to see our wives dealing and fighting alone any advice please I will appreciate all yr comments and replies.god bless you all and facilitate yr journey.have a bless week peace

in this exact scenario,

NVC administratively closes the I-129F petition, as the basis to chase after a K-3, an unapproved I-130 petition, no longer exists.

So, current in/out processing time at NVC to chase a spousal visa? 4 to 9 months, depending on how fast things flow in the queues at NVC, and how fast the petitioner and beneficiary can get things into NVC. It's difficult to give exact answer, but if'n yer on a PC, and have 'view signatures' enabled, you can click the link below in my signature area and read about the process.

hello everybody !! i just wanna ask what should i do when the USCIS approuves both of I130 and I129F at the same time !! they did sent me both of NOA2 almost 3 weeks ago ...how much time the NVC will take to process my case before sending it to the embassy in tunisia.thank you so much

You will be receiving a welcome letter from NVC and further instructions will be on that letter

hi everybody ,after 6 months of waiting stress and pressure my petition(I130) just got approuved by the USCIS two days ago well they i didn't got the NOA2 yet they said they will mail it soon !! i wonder what's now ? should i wait to receive something from the NVC ? the steps is nah clear for me !! thank you so much and good luck for everybody

Hello everybody I feel so confused about my name in the receipt they sent me !! Well I'm trying to explain so u can have an idea guys my given name is composed of 2 names my Name but in the receipt they put a part of my given name as a middle name while I dnt have a middle name.so when they sent me the noa1 of the I130 and the I129 with a only a part of my given name and my last name.since I'm not the petitioner my wife called em many time to correct it but they told her that they did correct it on the system and that the receipt are not generated with the middle name.they didn't sent nothing about the name's thing and I really wonder how bad is that I'm so worry if this can effect the process especially its been 2 months since we got the noa1 for the k3 visa and we didn't get nothing !!! So i wouldnt worry that it's happening to you and is usually something systemic (like overall delay in processing or computer servers down etc).

when did you send the I-129F?

after submitting it, within 2-3 weeks you will receive a letter called Notice Of Action (NOA1) that they have received it. Did you already receive this?

i sent it in march and i received the NOA1 and now the case in nebraska.after i received the notice i could check it online and it was showing me that the case received and that's all but later i can't no more

I can't check my case online it just shows me an error message saying that the USCIS can provides any informations about my case at the moments.I called em and they asks me to wait for more 40 days.anyone knows what this means
