I was inspected but I can't remember name on the passport that I used.
It was 14 years ago
I remember while I was in the plane I was scared to look in that passport (you know you are doing something illegal)
Now I don't know ,what's the problem
Why my Lawer is saying this because he already knew everything from the beginning
-
He just told me yesterday because,i don't have that passport how I enter in U.S.
The passport was probably false. I can't remember
The reason is that proof how I enter in US
On the beginning he told it doesn't matter as long as I don't have criminal record and I'm married with US citizen for more than 10 years and I have 2 kids

Hi. I'm in process for I-601 a waiver. My husband is US citizen and I came here illegally 14 years ago. We are married for 13 years. We have 2 kids. I don't have criminal record But I don't have any proof how I came in this country , because I ripped that passport and put into the garbage. At that time I thought it's best that I do that because it was probably stolen passport and I was scared. That's how it is when you coming in new country.
Now my Lawer recommend me that I stop with this waiver because he thinks that at my country they will denied my visa and I will stuck there. I don't know what to do
At beginning he told me different story
Does anybody have similar story like me ?
Thanks

Finally , got my interview date in 2 weeks ????

I-601a Waiver
But still I-130 is not approved. I apply for I-130 in August 2013. From then they were transfering my case from one office to another. Last 8 months my case is at Federal plaza that's my local office. I went there couple times and couple weeks ago they told me that they will send me interview notice for me and my husband. We are married for 14 years ???and they want interview.
So now I'm waiting ,and I don't know for how long I will wait more. I'm so desperate ???
-
What type of visa are you trying to obtain?
Your timeline is vacant.

I had infopass in Federal plaza 4 weeks ago. It's about waiting for approval I-130 form. I'm waiting 20 months for approval. Lady saw that I'm waiting for approval way too long and she gave me papers to fill for the interview. Now I'm waiting for that interview. Did anybody had same experience, and do you know approximately for how long I will wait for that interview?
Thanks

After that status was same or was changed ?

I don't understand you ,sorry
You got that issue for three days or more ,because I have this issue for a month or more
I'm checking my case status every second day
-
Since I stared checking. 3 days ago.

I have the same issue as well. But I received the NOA1 a week ago. I thought It was because it way to soon to check. ?
For how long you got the same issue ?

Good luck ,I hope your husband will be soon with you ??

hi ! I waited almost 2 yrs to get approved it was beyond horrible!!! I got my senator involved at 7 months of waiting. after that my case was transferred in June 2013 to Chicago local office but since it's a busy office I didn't get an interview date until Nov 13. horrible I know. then the first thing she asked in the interview was so your husband was deported? oh no no no. he bought a ticket and went home. then she said well i'll make a decision on the case within 30 days. I had to go back twice and found out this stupid went on vacation. spoke to a manager (end of Jan)she called to tell me the interview person was requesting more info. wow. especially since she told me she had all the info she needed. now she wanted a dna test for husband and daughter...I feel your pain. and my husband is still not here!!!

Hi. Yesterday I went for infopass at Federal Plaza
The lady was soooo nice. She saw that I'm waiting for approval almost 20 months and she check my file
And she didn't understand why I'm waiting so long.
Then, she went to speak with main manager ,I think.
She gave me paper actually, interview inquire to fill out. When I finish that she told me wait for the interview date. Does anybody know for how long the interview date I will wait for ? Also, she told me im married for 13 years and I have two kids ,but this is only way they can approve I-130

Well we had a lawyer and my husband n lawyer both went to meet local senator.
Yes go on woth local senator.
Good luck I know how difficult this wait is.
Thanks ?
-
I had the same issue. . I-130 for almost 15 months not approved.
We contacted senator and it really helped.
Local senator from NY you think?
Contact your local senator's office. Ask them to make an inquiry. Put a service request in and contact ombudsman's office.
Can my lawyer do something about that?
Thanks

Thanks.
I hope also I can find out something at the info pass next week ?

Hi. I'm waiting almost 2 years for I-130 approval. Last 7 months my case is at Federal Plaza. I went there for info pass and still nothing. Last couple weeks I can't find nothing about my case online. It's says they cannot give me information about my case
I don't know why. First I was thinking something is wrong with their website. But, it's still same. I have info pass next week.
Can someone tell me please are they doing something on my case
Thanks
